I agree. There is definitely a great chance they talked about it.

I would consider taking Kobe off that list this yr and add Love. Not even trying to start shit, but I would consider it.

Kobe is a guard. Love is a forward. Can't happen.

They pick 2 guards(doesn't matter PG or SG) and 2 forwards(doesn't matter PF or SF) and 1 center.

Also....

Kobe is leading the league in scoring. He is having one of his better years in his career. He is a guaranteed, shoe in for first team. And it's NOT because of reputation.

You could swing KD or LBJ to guard IMO. I don't like how they have to position specific, seems like a cop out to me. If you going to have first team, should just be the best 5 players. Everyone on that list is having an MVP season imo except Kobe. I could see an argument for Dwight as well. Not saying Kobe sucks, I just think Love is playing better. He's a legit MVP candidate and should be on the list.

Also Kobe leading the league in scoring is nice, but by no means an argument that he deserves first team. Hell look at Allen Iversen in 05-06 seasons. He led the league in scoring and no one was calling for him to be an MVP.

Well IMO, they won't put 2 PG's on there. I know they can, but it would be unlikely they do.

It will be Rose, CP3 or Westbrook and then the other guard will be Kobe or D Wade.

D Wade can fuck off. He's just one of those players, that no matter what I won't like watching him play. Westbrook is flirting to this territory. These two guys are the best at lowering their head, driving to the hoop, throwing up garbage and falling down without getting touched and getting the call.

They prob wont, but thats a different discussion than the one I was having. I was talking about who deserves it, not who will get it. I don't think it would be outrageous to include Kobe, he just personally wouldn't be on my first team.

1999-2000 was the last time 2 PGs were on first team. Jason Kidd and Gary Payton.

2004-2005 was Nash and AI, but AI is technically listed as a SG.

AI was both, lol. I'm always amazed when I see his AST totals. He always got the rap of a guy who didn't pass yet in his prime avg 7 ast a game. Not to shabby.
