Thing you don’t buy for Christmas
I was talking to a nice lady and her husband we where talking about Christmas gifts and shopping at a friend’s Open house on Monday. The next thing this lady is listing items that she will not buy as gifts for Christmas for anyone. She had quite a list, about the only item I could think was “Fruit Cake”. I know of no one who eat it nor do I know if anyone even knows that it still being made.
I ask the OC are there some items (gifts) that you would not purchase for Christmas?

I just write a check. Buying gifts are for the weak and the people that have too much time on their hands.

Bowling ball with the name Homer on it.
Unless, of course, your name is Homer and ya just hope your wife doesnt want it and gives it to ya.

What if your wife wants one? For example, my wife WANTS a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. I just wouldn't buy one because the one she wanted was ~$350.00THE4RINGZ;1021696 wrote:Never buy your wife a kitchen appliance for Christmas.

That is just a sneaky way for a wife to get extra gifts because they know the man will feel guilty for getting an appliance for Christmas so he also buys her something else. If you DONT get her something else ya can expect that to backfire down the road, and if you DONT get it for her then she will buy it herself after the fact AND then also the gifts ya got he for christmas.bigkahuna;1022456 wrote:What if your wife wants one? Kinda like as a kid when you ask for your birthday present about a month early...and your parents oblige but they then feel guilty on your birthday and you getting nothing so they get you another gift.......

I don't know if your wife is into breast cancer awareness or just likes the color pink but we just recently got our boss a Kitchen Aid Mixer and it was pink in supprt of breast cancer. We got it at Kohls for 300 about 2 weeks ago.bigkahuna;1022456 wrote:What if your wife wants one? For example, my wife WANTS a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer.
