With the bumping of Ole Canal and Bradley to D1 there really has been an influx of great wrestlers(especially in the middle weights!).double arm bars;1026680 wrote:All I know for sure is the Central District is much tougher than it's been.

Forrider will run through Darby's District Tourney. Hes by far Marysville's best wrestler. No disrespect to Mr. Sparks, whos very good as well.

Forrider is Marysville's best wrestler and the best at his weight class in the District right now. Sparks is a very good wrestler for Marysville as well, heck their whole team is good. Sparks will have his hands full with Spearman,Mullucey, Riley(who I think might be best here)Straughter,Penzone. Not saying he can't beat these guys(because I think he can) but he most definitely won't breeze through the District.

Of those you listed, which ones are two time state placers? Not an edit really here but a quick response. I said Forrider would run though his Darby District and said Sparks was very good. Never said anything about Sparks "breeze through the District".

You think Straughter and Penzone at 113? Mullucey back yet? All these kids go 113 then 120 becomes weaker than 120.

It is my understanding that Mullucey and Spearman are at 113, while Straughter and Penzone will be at 120.

Rumor has it Mullucey is making his comeback at Medina. Nothing like jumping right into the fire!!! Best of luck to the young man.

Not going to doubt you there, but like you said it is summer wrestling. Ryan has wrestled with some of the best guys in the country/world at Ohio State and the ORTC. U can only get better when your rolling around with Cejudo, Steibers, Dijulius, Humphrey, Jaggers, Escebedo, and more.Monkey Man;1026640 wrote:You could be right, but I watched these guys go at it quite a bit at Jordans during the summer,based on what I saw and I know it's the summer there was no doubt who the better wrestler was

I agree! I am glad they changed them - but then again my team was 2 to 3 deep in the mid-upper weights last year with very good wrestlers - we had kids wrestling JV that would have had very good varsity records had they been on another team. With the Holiday Tourneys fast approaching there should be some separation and more confusion lol!
