And yes, the writers for the Dispatch are hacks WHEN they put together a story full of innuendo which has no substantive proof whatsoever. You don't think otherwise decent reporters can become hacks on certain topics when beating the bushes for a big story? Of course they can.

Where politics today is concerned...pick a mainstream media outlet or personality and odds are very, very good they have a clear bias and don't even try to hide it, anymore. That makes them hacks.
