I agree. I wouldn't have been upset with Barnes at 4, but Waiters looks to have a legit above average NBA skill. He is going to get to the basket and put the ball in the hole. His stroke from the outside seems to be a bit streaky, but he can knock down 3's and with Irving's outside shot we don't need an absolute sharpshooter beside him. Started watching some video of him yesterday and liked what I saw. Now they need to try to add a 3 that is a versatile defender that can make shots. I like Gee, but think he is better suited to come off the bench backing up the 2/3 position. Maybe Brandon Rush?KR1245;1215009 wrote:I dont understand what people wanted the Cavs to do with #4 once MKG and Beal were off the board. Who was left at 4 that would make you happy? Harrison Barnes? I will take Waiters over him all day long. Reach on Drummond? Lamb? T Rob?
Waiters is a solid pick. Cavs got two players that were predicted to go in the lottery. This talk of using picks 24,33 and 34 is absurd. The Cavs were never going to go into camp with 4 rookies, it wasnt going to happen.
