Has anybody said that the kid is going to be a superstar? Most Cavs fans have said that he has a chance to be a solid starter in the league, thats it

Oh yeah... The defensive remark smh.

If that the case, what were you regarding the Heat? Lmao

He's got nice potential and will be a rotational player at the very worst.
I guess because a lot of people look at him on here as a cornerstone type of player when he is no more than a rotational player to me right now. Differing opinions are alright though.

Stop making this into a big deal, I made a comment that wasn't even derogatory. I said I like him as a player.

Proof of people calling him a cornerstone player?

No, what you're doing is putting absurd accusations out there generalizing a fanbase on this board of saying things that weren't said.

I like T2 a lot. But I don't think he's a superstar in the making. He's going to be a very good role player and defender. Similar to Ibaka, but has work to do offensively.

I said they look at him like that, not that they called him that. Maybe I overreacted because I always see people talking about him along with the likes of Kyrie. I just look at him as more of a complimentary piece.

If he's a complimentary piece on the Cavs, wouldn't he be talked about with Kyrie?

I just wouldn't recognize him in the same sentence as someone like a Kyrie when it comes to your team's future, that's just me. Obvious generalization and overreaction from myself.

I watched every game he played. Explosive player who can get to the bucket and finish. Not the best outside shooter but certainly solid and consistent enough. You can look at him and see that he has a solid frame and can and does absorb contact and still finishes. Some have made a big deal out of him not starting but Syracuse used him as "instant offense" off the bench due to their depth and just the dynamic of the team. Pretty good defender too. Very athletic. As others have said, I think some of you will be surprised. Pleasantly.

That would be a good point if I was the kind of guy who doesn't make it very clear who I want beforehand. Go back and check it out if you want. I said a 2 and a 3, some combo of lamb (my top choice), beal, ross, mkg, harkless, and t jones.

Notice how waiters was not on that fucking list, and how I have no control over who the cavs draft. I Bitch when I think they fuck up.

Does he dominate the ball or play within the flow of the offense?

Byron Scott's Princeton offense utilizes two guards who can play with the ball. Kyrie was off the ball quite a bit towards te end of the season to utilize his shooting stroke.

The princeton offense is just another reason why I think zeller will do well.

I seem to recall him playing alongside Sessions some times as well.

I'd say he's most effective with the ball however he played with a lot of energy on defense and didn't pout when Kris Joseph, Scoop Jardine, Brandon Triche or others had big scoring games for the Orange. Wasn't a head case last year. Stepped up and took over when it was time but played his role when it was others' turn.

Syracuse was in transition a lot and in the half court it was a lot of 1-on-1 so I don't know about playing in the flow of the offense. He didn't have an outrageous ego though so I think there's good balance there mentally. Aggressive/assertive but not a me-first ball hog.

Many on the RealCavsFans chat thread are likening our picks to our drafting of Dajuan Wagner and Chris Mihm.

Not sure how they will turn out, but Grant will be looking for a new job next year if they don't show some major promise this season to have justified the picks.

Zeller is the perfect center for this offense. Runs the floor extremely well and rebounds very good. He will definitely open things up for t2 on the offensive glass. We still have fa so we could sign a solid sf or even oj mayo
