There are movie theaters down here showing these fights. Someone said today it was better than any bar he's been to, big screen and surround sound was almost like being there in person.

Yeah, I would watch fights in a theater any day over a bar. I mean you obviously have your pros and cons to both but every bar I have ever watched a fight in has been crowded, hot, and uncomfortable. The only pro to a bar would be the drinks.

I prefer my home for fights or friends houses. I don't like the bars or places like BW3 because they get jammed packed. I don't wanna pay 10 bucks for some popcorn and another 5 bucks for a coke at a movie theatre and no beer there.

Tinseltown in North Canton shows the fights in one of their big theatres. We are going to try it for Lesnar/Carwin, we usually have the fights at our house with people over.

I'll stick to my internet, and hooking my computer to my TV for big fights. Then, I got the fight on 46" screen, beer, no crowd, and for free right in the comfort of my own home.

jmog, can you get more info on the North Canton one? I might have to hit that up. You're talking about the one by the strip beside the Walmart right?

Yup, they show the UFCs, I believe its $20 a ticket, on one of their 2 huge theatres that seat a couple hundred.

Here is a list of theatres that held last weeks UFC and the list will be the same or similar for UFC 116.

Oh, and everything I've read is that it is in complete HD and surround sound.

TUF was a pretty good card. I was glad to see Hammill get a win and Court McGee looked tough. I also thought that Chris Leban looked really good.

a 46" TV is pretty small by todays standards. It was great to see Chris Leben get an impressive win last night.

I was glad to see Leben pick up the W. I also liked Court McGee winning the contract. Anyone else think it may be time for Jardine to either leave the UFC or change weight classes?

I prefer him leave the UFC but don't think he will be cut because of the two big wins he has (F. Griffin, C. Liddell). I can't stand Jardine. He is 6-7 in the UFC and has lost four fights in a row and five of his last six fights (lone win over Brandon Vera).

Yeah, I can't stand him either. Yeah, he probably won't get cut but luckily we don't have to see him fight that often.
