Lol didnt get a chance to do anything, I understand he didnt do anything. But if there was a way for both fighters to lose...this would be exhibit A

Well getting taken down 3 times and laid on the whole fight doesn't exactly make you the winner.

Look not all MMA fights are going to be boxing matches if that is what you want watch boxing. Does it get boring/slow, sure but hell I have seen some boring ass football/baseball/basketball/hockey games too! Wrestling is about controlling your opponent and Kos controlled Daley all fight!

Technically, it did make him the winner.

Not all fights are going to be exciting, it's like that in every sport..

And boxing has been giving us lame duck fights for years, even the big cards.

That didnt GET boring and slow. It WAS boring and slow the entire match. I mean honestly at one point in time on the ground when Kos had his back, he literally wrapped his legs around him and grabbed wrists and laid there. No punches, no submission attempt.

And then you get full mount, posture up drop bombs? Nah, lets just gaze into his eyes or something. Just irks me

Bingo.

I don't like how Daley lost that fight, but he had the ability to do something about it, and didn't.

I definitely get your beef and I'm not really arguing that it was a lame ass way to win.

Usually when two fighters are just lying there and neither one are trying to further progress of a hold, the ref stands them up.

Was a piss-poor card to begin with. Didn't even think about ordering it. Besides, controversial decisions like the first Machido-Rua rarely ever hold up to be the gold in the rematch.

And another gripe. The numbering of UFC's is getting old. We're at 113 now. Why not just make it UFC alone, for christ's sake??!!!! We get it, MMA is thriving, let's stop numbering them like it's something new, dayum!

How about Daley learns how to stop a takedown...if he wants a stand up fight then he shouldn't get taken down...perfect example is Chuck Liddell, he wanted to fight standing and no one could take him down so he had a huge advantage in so many fights... We've seen this from Daley and Hardy, they can't stop a takedown and they have no ground game so they lose those fights against great wrestlers. Daley has great stand up and terrible takedown defense with no BJJ skills, Kos has very good takedowns...Why wouldn't Kos take the fight to the ground...Granted he could have done a better job of working for submissions and ground and pound. This shows why wrestling is the best base for MMA
