I want to see Silva/Jones a lot more. If GSP loses, I want to see him lose to a WW. Also, I don't see either Diaz ever holding a belt because they can't handle a strong wrestler. I'm hoping that Hendricks or Ellenberger can keep it standing long enough to land a big shot.

Diaz is nothing but a show. And a bad one at that. He should go to WWE.

I want to see Bones/Silva more as well because I'm pretty certain Silva would beat GSP. I would love to see Hendricks rock GsP.

I think he should box. He's not a fake, but I think he should take up boxing. He's too small to deal with wrestlers.

Then, maybe he could fight Ray Edwards?

GSP did waht GSP does, he neutralizes his opponent. Nick stopped 7 out of 16 takedowns which is probably the best anyone has ever done in that department against GSP. GSP takes away all your strengths, his jab threw Nick's timing off on the feet and it's hard to open up on the feet with the threat of the takedown. GSP did no damage on the ground, Nick is too good at defending on the ground and he is almost impossible to hold down in the same spot, he is constantly moving position. He kept trying to roll for a knee bar but GSP blocked up. GSP has mastered mma when it comes to winning rounds, and he will continue to win fights because of that. If your opponent is on the defensive the entire fight you are probably going to win the fight. I don't think he even cares about finishing anymore, Nick let him jab him in the face multiple times to try and get him to open up but GSP throws no combinations, only jabs and single strikes. He will beat Hendricks and Ellenberger easily, as soon as the load up like they tend to do he will change levels and put them on their asses. They don't have the game from the back or the gas tank to do anything about it.

You must be new to MMA with this comment, he is a fighters fighter, go watch some of his fights and then come back and apologize. There is no show about him either, that is who he is, he is crazy.

I would be curious to see him box but he should stay in MMA. A lot of money to be made and he is always entertaining inside and out of the cage and still one of the top WW's in the wolrd. I would like to see him in some exciting match ups for a while, Martin Kampmann comes to mind, both top guys who bring it, would be sure fireworks.

Definitely not new to MMA.

I've just never been a Diaz supporter (Nick or Nate). I don't like what they offer -- mostly yapping, with little follow-through when it's needed.

You are right, he's beat: Paul Daley, Evangelista Santos, Hayato Sakurai, and Marius Zaromskis. Can't forget about a retired BJ Penn, Scott Smith, Frank Shamrock, Thomas Denny, Muhsin Corbbrey, and Katsuya Inoue.

Good thing he yaps all the time. That's a great list of fighters to beat and have the lip service too.

I never said he was the best or anything. I'm just saying he is good and not just a show.

I'm saying he hasn't done anything to warrant his show. He yaps too much. Odds are, his "backed taxes" scheme is not true. I think he's a show.

But, I will give him credit, like GSP did, he sold the PPV. He knows how to draw a crowd. Sports need his type of persona. I just don't like him.

Pretty disappointed in my boy Nick but GSP did what GSP does. I hope he doesn't retire GSP was just a bad match up. I was hoping he could get off punches in bunches but GSP laying on him I think sapped his energy.
Hendricks fight was good, I have much more respect for Condit. He fought one of his best figts imo.

I don't think he'll beat them easily. I think Ellenberger has a better chance since he's great in a scramble, hits like a truck, and is one of the most athletic guys in the division.

Was reading where Diaz could be facing some jail time after the comments about never having paid his taxes. Maybe he was kidding, but why give the government a reason to check you out?

I just don't see it, they have limited gas tanks and they load up on punches, GSP will time a takedown and put them down just like everyone else. Their ground games are no where near Nick's so I could see GSP possibly doing some damage and submitting them when they get tired. Both of them have a punchers chance but that's about it imo. Still interested to see those fights.

I think they have a lot better chance than Diaz did. Hendricks and Ellenberger can at least wrestle, sprawl, and get back to their feet. They're both a lot strong than Diaz and Condit so i think they can keep the fight standing longer than most and get back to their feet.

You do realize that more time was spend standing in the fight than was spend on the ground right?

Hendricks ground game is ungodly, you don't win 2 NCAA championships and be a 4xAA at the NCAA level without being amazing on the ground.

I mean I was schmammered but yea I get that. But after GSP laid on him for 4mins the 1min he had he was gassed to provide his offense.

GSP doesn't go for finishes really he is content to hold you down and do just enough to not be stood up. He fights to win usually if you go for a submission and it doesn't work you may lose your ground control and GSP avoids that risk.

No, watch it again, 2 or 3 minutes of each round was spent on the feet. Not just 1 minute. 12-13 minutes of the fight were on the feet and 12-13 were on the ground.

GSP out struck Diaz on the feet for those 12+ minutes as well.

His jiu jitsu is not better than Nicks, off his back he will stuck with GSP on top.
