Chalk me up as someone who was disappointed with the main card. I was excited to finally watch Lombard and he fell short of impressing me. The Kongo fight was also disappointing. I thought for sure it would end with a tko. Oh well I didnt expect a great card but like robj55 said at least the free Fox card is pretty good.

I guess Dana actually came out and said how disappointing the card was. He doesnt do that often. I guess it's hard not to when the crowd was booing for 2 or 3 straight fights.

Yeah Dana is pretty honest about it all. Atleast the prelims were awesome though. Sometimes fight cards aren't going to come through, but normally they are all awesome. This FOX card in two weeks is loaded and should provide some fireworks and great fights.

Yeah, no doubt. I'm not dumb enough to believe every card is going to be great but it was bad. I didnt end up watching the prelims because I was hoping a lot of them would be on the ppv. Oh well free Fox card should make up for it.

You did, I still thought he won the fight but neither man was impressive. What did Boetsch land that was significant? I can't think of one strike. Lombard won the grappling, landed the harder shots but was just frozen for the majority of the fight, he was trying to counter and Boetsch wasn't committing to anything.

Either way Lombard wasnt impressive. Boetsch isnt a slouch but the fight was pretty lousy.

Yeah but what I mostly called was that Lombard is not going to be dominating the division or anything like that. People online were acting like he was gonna come through and destroy everyone up to and including Silva. Not gonna happen.

Yeah Anderson would have knocked him out if they fought last night. I just didn't understand the strategy, you can't counter someone who doesn't strike. Maybe he was afraid he would gas and wanted to pace himself, Boetsch is a slow starter and Lombard is normally a killer in the early rounds, he should have put the pressure on.

Glad i didn't order that one. The last good card i ordered was the all HW card.

Been disappointed recently since there have been so many injuries. It's just a bad stretch for the UFC, hoping by the end of the year they a bunch of belts on the line as well as No. 1 contender matches. Not a fan of jones outside the cage, but he likes to fight 3-4 times a year and he always brings it. I wish all the belt holders were the same way.

Really want the WW division back on track. No matter what, I want to see GSP vs Diaz after the condit fight.

That fight would be huge, don't think they can give Nick a shot coming off of a loss though, even though it was close. Dana has promised that they are putting together some huge fights for this fall and later this year/early next year. Eager to see what they come up with.

Regardless of his previous fight, i think it needs to happen. Ideal scenario is GSP loses and then they can pair them off as both coming off a loss going after the title. Fuck a rematch, set that fight up if GSP loses.

Also, I'm eager for The Reem to come back. Drugs or not he can stand and bang and I want to seem him fight JDS. With so many guys coming off the shelf, there are some great fights to make.

UFC on Fox 4
Mauricio "Shogun" Rua vs. Brandon Vera
Lyoto Machida vs. Ryan Bader
Travis Browne vs. Ben Rothwell
Joe Lauzon vs. Jamie Varner

Of the 4 main card fights I really only care about the Lauzon vs Varner fight. I think Browne, Machida, and Rua roll. I like Varner and it'd be good to see some more contenders at 155. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a trilogy with Cerrone, those two can't stand each other so I'm sure the rubber match with title implications on the line would be awesome.

This card is really good, the prelims are loaded with good fighters and match ups too. I expect Shogun and Machida to have spectacular finishes. Rothwell surprised the hell out of me by knocking out Schaub in his last fight. Lauzon and Varner will be really exciting, Lauzon is one of the best first round fighters on the planet lol

Lauzon is extremely dangerous early in fights, but seems to fade after the first round. I could see all 4 main card fights being finishes.

It'll be interesting to see if Lauzon doesn't gas if it goes past the 1st.

If by gay you mean best and most dynamic and exciting sport in the world then yes.

Why would you respond to a troll who is just trying to derail the thread? He's trying to get banned so he can complain that it's bullshit he's banned.
