With his reach and wrestling it's going to be difficult to simply pick him apart or hope to take him down and decision him to death. So I think someone who's capable of just pushing the pace and throwing a ton of punches might be the best shot. Of course this is a very risky strategy so who knows.
Later down the road...

Possibly, the kid is a stud but still raw. I think Machida gives him the best fight in the near future, Rashad, Hendo, Davis don't have a shot in my opinion.

His stand up is their and his ground game but his wrestling needs a lot of work. Phil Davis handed it to him in that area and subbed him.

His TDD was actually looking pretty good against Davis until Alex shot on him and Phil took over from there.

Yeah he's probably one fight away from getting a big name, after he fights Matyushenko.

136 and 137 are just stacked cards. The Pettis vs Stephenson fight isn't even listed as notable for 136.

I concur about 137 but not about 136. Just nothing that really jumps out at me that makes me want to buy it. I will definitely watch it on the comp though.

I would be careful on the watching online thing. Dana tweeted two weeks ago at some guy that the fed's are going after EVERYBODY, and not just the people putting up the sites. He promised they will literally be going to peoples houses and making arrests in the next few months.

I know he has a reason to scare people, and surely they cant go after everyone but its enough to make you wonder.

No they can't. There is no way they will legally be able to do that nor would it be cost effective for them to do such.

How can they get you if you are not the one uploading? I don't download anything to watch it. When I click on a link it is already in a flash player and I hit play with no download. How is that illegal, just like watching a youtube video someone posted. It is the site's responsibility to knock off copywrited content not mine!

I don't know what to think in the situation. I mean obviously the UFC would want to stop all of the computer event watching but I mean there are just some events that aren't worth buying to some people and we are so hooked on watching MMA that we search for the sites. Wouldn't you think the UFC would make more money in the long run if they slashed the prices of some of the events? To me 136 isn't worth 45 or 55 bones. I would probably get it for 25 but no way I would pay full price.

They're going after the sites that provide the links. They're NOT coming after people who watch the streams.

I don't care too much for Edgar or Maynard. I just don't feel like it's good enough to buy. It might be one that I watch online and think damn I should have bought it but we shall see. As I said in a previous post Stann vs Sonnen is the only fight I am really interested in.

I can understand Maynard v Edgar.

But Aldo v Florian has fight of the year written all over it.
Lauzon v Guillard is a fight that will vault one into title contention and severely crush the others careers.
Garcia is akways exciting and Maia is alway fun to watch (except against A. Silva).

1. That would be a mistake since Aldo has great BJJ.
2. What fight has Florian lay n prayed to make you think he will do it in this fight?
