Big time. Even Greg Little, for all of his drops, is more of a weapon than Cribbs, imo. All Cribbs is good at is whining and flapping his gums.Commander of Awesome;1019839 wrote:Disagree, have you not watched him this season? He's lost 2 steps.

Cribbs could be a weapon if he is used correctly. Get him some screen passes, end arounds, maybe some trick plays. He's not near the return man he used to be though. I'd like to see screen returning for the rest of the year.

Thats what I was meaning. He is even probably the leading tackler on special teams. The new rule has limited him a lot, IMO. Still sets the Browns up in decent field position when they need it (I could be thinking of last year).se-alum;1019878 wrote:Cribbs could be a weapon if he is used correctly. oh yeah that's it...Shurmur, in all his great offensive genius, is playing for his qb this next draft. It's not the fact he is awful at running an offense?BR1986FB;1019734 wrote:May have been mentioned but after what I saw yesterday, I firmly believe that Shurmur was playing for a draft pick so he could get "his guy" at QB.

i could get behind this because it actually signifies some sort of "plan" from shurmur. plus, sam bradford wasn't awful last season either.BR1986FB;1019734 wrote:May have been mentioned but after what I saw yesterday, I firmly believe that Shurmur was playing for a draft pick so he could get "his guy" at QB.

Sorry, but Shurmur's play calling at the end of the game was inexcusable, I don't give a shit about "playing to get 'his' guy." He has to learn how to handle close game situations, and so far this season he has failed miserably almost every game. In fact the only reason he didn't fail in the other games is because the opposing team failed miserably down the stretch.dazedconfused;1020350 wrote:i could get behind this because it actually signifies some sort of "plan" from shurmur. plus, sam bradford wasn't awful last season either.
If he is a pussy now, he is going to be a pussy in the future. He isn't going to all of a sudden flip a switch and be a good play caller in close game situations. The consolation out of all this is the Browns didn't fall down the draft order, but if this game had playoff implications we all would be livid.
Shurmur better find a way to get his balls to drop over the off season, because his pussy mentality is rubbing off on the rest of the team.

Shurmur has got to be fired, if the Browns want to move forward. Why the Browns picked this guy is beyond me.

I'm not for firing another coach.
Stability is something we've lacked. It's something we need. 1 season, with this poorest talent doesn't give him a fair evaluation.

I thought the Browns won this game until I saw the highlights on NBC last night. Not sure why I was surprised that they blew it, but I kinda was.

Just making a statement about the game. No big deal. At least I don't think so.

Didn't really see it as trolling. Now had he said "if it's brown, flush it down" or some other stupid Steeler "funny', it would've been trolling. Replay has overturned the "trolling" call.

Just a post about the game.
Based on a few of these recent posts on here...if I'm butt hurt....I'm not the only one. Sorry, guys....I thought non-Browns fans were allowed to post on this thread too. I don't mind if you guys post on Steeler threads like you do. Not sure why the feeling isn't mutual. Maybe we should all stop the QQ and be allowed to talk sports.

the replay booth was actually out of service, so no replay could be given. therefore, as usual, steelers fans are wrong. browns winBR1986FB;1021623 wrote:Didn't really see it as trolling.
