Inactive doesnt mean much in the NFL especially for a QB who is backing up someone as big and strong as Ben, with a team that is a bit thin on the OL and LB.

I would almost rather see him instead of Batch start. Neither guy will be able to throw the ball even close to ben, that is a given, but at least dixon can do something with his feet. We dont really care if he sells out his body on runs to be honest with ya.

Dixon definately gives you some options. SF is strong against the run, so keeping them off balance will be critical.

Batch will be a sitting duck back there.

I will go so much and say aht if Dixon starts then the steelers have a 50/50 shot at winning, with batch it is like 10%

I'm at the point now where I don't care if the Steelers win or lose this game--JUST DON'T GET ANYMORE PLAYERS HURT!

Good article on Antonio Brown.

http://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/38212/antonio-brown-is-no-longer-a-steelers-secret

I knew he was taken late, but didn't realize he was a 6th rounder.

I feel pretty much the same. This game was losable at full strength. With this many key players out and with Baltimore being unlikely to falter the rest of the way.....just make the playoffs and have your guys healthy for them.

In my opinion, it all depends on what happens tonight. Baltimore will probably win and then I think they'll go on to take the division. They play Cincinnati the last game. Not a bad team but no way Baltimore screws up the last game. They'll be right on the verge at that point and they'll come out and finish the job.

There is a slight opening for an upset tonight because San Diego is at home and they've picked it up a little the past couple weeks.

If the Chargers win, I think the Steelers will get a huge boost from that and they'll win Monday night to seize control.

I believe NBC has the first choice of the primetime Wild Card game on Saturday.

So if it's Pittsburgh at Denver, almost certainly that will be played on Saturday night of the Wild Card round. Can't imagine a more attractive matchup, especially with the Tebow factor.

Not to look ahead, but if the Steelers do play at Denver I wonder if Ryan Clark will play. Remember a couple of years ago, he almost died and lost his spleen and gall bladder because of the altitude and his sickle cell condition. He was since back in Denver but was held back by Tomlin despite getting medical clearance.

Good point. That would be an issue.

He sat out that Monday night game a couple years ago.

Not that it matters about this year but the Steelers historically have had some good playoff wins in Denver. 1984 Divisional Playoffs. 2005 AFC Championship. They lost in 1989 in a 24-23 game.

Wrong.

If Baltimore loses, I guarantee the Steelers win Monday night.

They'll be extra fired up knowing that they can win the division.

Believe me. The entire locker room will just be more focused and they'll find a way to win. Tough game, but they'll find a way to win and be in first place.

But, it's still unlikely that the Ravens lose. I'm just saying if they do, it changes the complexion of the Steelers game.

Homer fan that schools you on this stuff over and over.

How come when the Steelers were 2-2 you came on here saying they wouldn't make the playoffs?

They're 10-3 and about to clinch a playoff berth today.

In your face. Pay up.

Nice to clinch with 3 to go. I wonder how they will handle the remaining games regarding injured players.
