I wouldn't say it's not close. My two favorite shows are big bang and HIMYM. I can never decide which I like more.

Love both of those as well. HIMYM is my favorite then BBT, but I could see how Big Bang Theory is funnier since HIMYM has gone with more story and less comedy than normal this year.
