It's not that our "logic" is wrong here, but it would have to be a shit ton of people. And that ain't gonna happen.

Oh really? Care to put a number to this, and then put your money where your mouth is via a monetary bet?

Ok I'll get my accountant to draft a proposal. PM me your mailing address, and I'll need a reference as well to verify the terms of the bet. Also, we need to establish the percentage drop from last year. I think 5% is a fair starting point. Thoughts?

Also, I don't care much for an iPad, so I will take the monetary equivalent of an iPad2. Currently this is around $550 and honestly its easier for you since you won't have to pay as much for shipping.

Let me contact my lawyer and get ahold of the VP of my multi-national corporation for a reference.

I would also like a reference from you since you didn't seem to come through on your ipad2 agreement earlier. Also, I would prefer a more trustworthy reference than an OSU reference.

Lawyer? LOL.

Also, I don't really need the VP of your corporation and I doubt he really wants to know you are betting on sports. A personal reference is just fine, just someone I can contact and who will bare witness to our agreement.

Ok. Shoot me a PM, we can discuss details in private and hash out any and all agreements there.

You guys could get manhattan buckeye to be your joint Lawyer, unless he is too busy beating up on soccer players in his rec league to deal with it

He's boycotting the game and not posting about it or discussing it.

He is discussing the stuff that brought us this bs of a game not the actual game itself. That is still 5 weeks away.

I don't want people to tune in, and I'm willing to wager large sums of money to people who think this is going to draw big ratings. I won't be watching, I won't be betting, and once I compile the list of advertisers for this debacle, I won't be using their products anymore.

With that said, it'll be the end of college football is LSU doesn't win, and you can take that to the bank.

I hope LSU wins by 30+ points. At least then we would have an undefeated champ. Also, it might make future BCS decisions better and easier. When team A beats team B at team B's home field, team B does not deserve a re-match while all of the other 1 loss teams go to other bowl games. If team B wins, we are all screwed who are not fans of the SEC because it will be chaos every year. 1 loss and you are done...unless you are in the SEC and then you can just wait for the re-match in the BCS title game against the team that already beat you.

I don't fault LSU, Alabama or any SEC school in this. They are playing the game and everyone else is making these decisions (relax Cats gone wild). If we had an 8 or 16 team play-off and it ended with LSU vs Alabama in the title game, nobody would complain about getting screwed, but then that would make sense.

Nobody would mind that because they would have had to beat a top ranked team or two to get there and would have earned it. As it stands now, they didn't win their conference and only beat one team of significance out of conference (#23 )Penn State. I'm hoping Alabama wins just so the outcry for a playoff becomes so great that it can not be ignored.

That's really the only positive for Alabama winning. However, LSU winning prevents us from ever having to see a rematch again for the title, which is more important than a mythical playoff that will probably never happen.

Is Trent Richardson getting paid for this ad? If so, will it get swept under the rug?
