Among the little tidbits that you keep bringing up, all I've ever said is that it is all about "overall resume". There are something like 200 different people who evaluate that each year and those people aren't even necessarily the same from year-to-year.

It isn't "hypocrisy" that Alabama was evaluated to be more deserving than Oklahoma State. It was the result of many, many different opinions being given equal weight as part of a vote to arrive at a decision.

There's not really much in common with this Alabama/Ok State debate compared to that LSU debate because Kansas wasn't even close to the conversation (remember your beloved computers? - they weren't real fond of the Jayhawks either).

Yes but Ole Miss is a powerhouse not a bad loss, and Tebow did promise they would not lose again that year, that was enough for the voters and probally why they put them in.

Brock Huard thinks the Pac-12 is going to surpass the SEC as the best conference.

I thought that seemed like a ridiculous enough thing to post somewhere, and this thread was probably the best fit.

He is probally thinking with Rich Rod now coaching at Arizona the other teams are going to have to improve greatly to compete in the conf.
