If this and if that...what the hell is he talking about. How much of the game is anything like it was when he played? STFU McHale--he's going to do it, deal with it. If you don't like his dancing, don't let him score--good luck.

Isn't that what the former Miami Hurricanes said in the Espn movie "The U"? I mean, I have only seen the commercial 900 times.SQ_Crazies wrote: If this and if that...what the hell is he talking about. How much of the game is anything like it was when he played? Then fucking do it! If his actions make people that upset, then try to take him down when he comes to the lane. It's highly doubtful that your going to hurt him because he is a freak of nature.
Seriously, quit your bitching by either a) taking a shot at LeBron or b) beat the Cavs.

What will be the reaction when someone takes a cheap shot at him? I bet his dancing looks like nothing then--whoever does it will get destroyed by the media if it's a big enough deal. Which proves my point, how much of the game is anything like it was when McHale played? It's a hell of a lot more about entertainment than it ever was then--LeBron's certainly an entertainer.

I'd like to see McHale say that to Lebron's face.
Also, I'd also like to see a player try to "take out" Lebron James. He'd put the STOMP on them guaranteed, and if he didn't David Stern sure would.

not the racist card again.........................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I couldn't imagine, Michael, Magic, Kareem, Bird.......or any of the greats doing the dancing. I think that is what he is saying.....today's game is just different and in todays world, it is mostly accepted. An era ago it wasn't.

I must say that I agree with McHale. Totally. LBJ is the most physically gifted player I have ever seen bar none. However, he has an average handle at best and the same for his 3 ball for the most part. To top it of, he has no rings and 1 Finals appearance. With all this being said, the dancing antics, the hype of him being the best player in the world and one of the best ever, better than MJ,etc etc gets to me a little bit. I feel he should focus on winning and tightening up those 2 areas of his game. If LBJ had Kobe's focus.........he would be the best player ever in my opinion.

If he had Kobe's focus or upbringing?
Or Kobe's desire for Denver women?
Kevin McHale was a tremendous basketball blayer and he is the only NBA player ever to be able to tie his shoes without bending over.
LeBron needs to focus more on his 3 ball? I'd rather he shott 85 % from the line than work on his 3 ball or his "handle"

Hidden, LeBron has a better 3 point % this year compared to his average.
Oh btw, he has a better 3 ball average than Kobe.
Maybe Kobe should have LeBron's focus on the 3 ball?

I would love to see this happen to Lebron. But what i would love more is to see him get up immediately and proceed to shit on that person for 5 straight dunks and a 65 point game.

I had the same thought Mchale had when I saw this thinking about the Bad Boy Pistons and Michael Jordan. They pummelled him and he got frustrated so much it hurt his performance. All I could think of was Lebron dancing or showing off then trying to get to the lane and Laimbeer, Rodman, or Salley dropping him hard to the floor. Needless to say things don't work that way anymore but I won't surprised one day when someone lays a hard foul on Lebron. Not a cheap shot, but just a hard foul that sends him to the floor. He is so freaking big though it would take a Dwight Howard, Shaq, or Bynum sized player to probably send him hard to the floor.

At any rate, I may agree the Dancing Queen could be the best player in the World had he held the same focus and leadership qualities as the Black Mamba.

He's 6'9" 270 and he has average at best handles? I'll take it.HiddenGems wrote: I must say that I agree with McHale. Totally. LBJ is the most physically gifted player I have ever seen bar none. And he shoots a better 3-point % then Kobe, guaranteed!
Also, he already is the best player ever, and he doesn't need a team award for me to see that.

Big fuckin yawn Kevin McHale. Always love when someone's answer to something they don't like is to resort to petty violence.

You can't disagree that LeBron should have been knocked on his ass though.. I'm all for having fun with your teammates but watching him dance gets old. I liked the pre-game stuff they did last year, but once the actual game starts that stuff needs to stop. There is a big difference in trash talking and dancing
I don't ever remember MJ dancing on the court

LeBron is shooting 34.7% from 3, connecting on 1.5/4.3 attempts per game.
Kobe is shooting 32.8% from 3, hitting 1/2.9 attempts per game.
Not a huge difference like it's being made out to be.
Now if LeBron could make those pesky free throws....
