Don't watch, don't click on any articles, don't bet on the game.

If there's any interest at all in this boring fraudulent game, guess what? We'll see two SEC duking it out next year. By allowing this game we are essentially promoting that a 1 loss SEC is better than any other every year. Since the SEC only has two teams that are good in any given year, most likely every year we are going to have at least 2 1 loss or less SEC teams. OK ST is the best team in the country this year, and Stanford is more deserving at this point than Alabama(simply because Alabama already had their shot against the champs).

First off...OK State is the best team now? And Stanford is more deserving? What about Houston?! I thought they were the best team in the country?!

Second of all...watching the game doesn't say that a 1-loss SEC team is better than every other 1-loss team EVERY YEAR. But it does say that a 1-loss SEC team was better than every other 1-loss team THIS YEAR.

I'll be watching the game.

3rdly- Who wants to watch the 2nd best team in the 2nd best conference play the best team in the 2nd best conference when we could be watching the best team in the best conference play the best team in the 2nd best conference.

Why do you consider the Big 12 the best conference?

The computers do, they do not lie.

Indeed. It is a travesty that 6-6 Texas A&M was left out of the BCS, given their top 14 standing in the computers.

6-6 Texas A&M is at 29 and lost 6 games by a combined score of 30 pts but 7-5 Auburn is at 25 who lost 5 games by a combined 139 pts, I guess you have no problem with that.
Btw- 9 of the 10 teams in the Big 12 are in the top 40 of the BCS while only 6 of the 12 SEC teams are.

hope this helps.

The meaning of this thread does hold some truth though..the only way we will get out of the BCS and into a playoff is to simply not watch/not care. When everyone watches and complains, old white guys at the BCS are going to continue to bank and continue to keep the same system.

Help yourself, fucker. You are the one who used the computers to back up your claim that the Big XII is the #1 conference. Now it seems like you are saying the computers aren't reliable since Auburn is rated so high. Oh but wait, then you go back to using the broken system that you're railing against as your proof. It kind of just looks like you spout whatever nonsense you can think of because you're pissy about the BCS/SEC.

By the way, your margin of victory factor there doesn't matter to the computers because the schools involved require that it not be considered in any of the computer formulas. So, why would I have a problem with it?

I am also hoping there is a strong movement to boycott watching this game. That's the only way fans can use their power.

....or let the market decide. If you are interested in this entertainment piece, watch it. If you're not, don't watch it.

I'm actually in agreement with Sleeper, I don't intend to watch this game. Its bullshit. Bama had their shot and they lost. Why didn't Michigan get another shot in 06? They lost to OSU by 3 points. But they didn't get another shot.

ESPN controls college football, its all about money and everyone is riding the SEC gravy train.

Incredible. You know this is a fraudulent, egregious violation of all things sacred when goosebumps agrees with me.

This is an anomaly of epic proportions. Never in the history of the planet has more unlike minded individuals drawn a consensus conclusion on an outrageous and rigged system. This is like the slave trade. Where one side is right in banning slavery and the other side is the south.
