Ill try to help here (based on All Star meet). 138 Alec Mills-Mifflin, 170 Mike Patrick-Marion Franklin, 195 Wehseh Juty-Briggs and 285 Travis Gusan-Walnut Ridge. I really like Gusan to place at states. Patrick will be real close to placing and probably will. He is a 2x DI DQ.

West and Centennial both looked pretty good at Franklin Heights. Here are some of the cities best imo:

Centennial:
Hendricks 126/132 a 2x DQ I think. A possible state qualifier.
Waits 138/152 (wrestled 152 this weekend but i think could make a big drop) 2x city champ.
Their 138 who I believe is a move in was pretty tough.

Mifflin:
Mills 138/145 very tough with a good work ethic. 2x dq i believe.
Baker 220 Sectional 6th and city champ

Marion Franklin:
Patrick 160/170 2x dq returning city champ. most likely state qualifier.
Messer 120/126 A dq and city runner up to bray.

Brookhaven:
Williams 160 got hurt last year but is tough.
Bonner 145/152 sectional placer city 3rd

West:
Farias 145/152 sectional placer city 2nd.
Stockton 182/195 sectional 5th and city 3rd.

fill in more later.

I agree with Gusan. He is the real deal. He put in the time this off season and has a good partner in his large coach. He wrestles a great style with great underhook offense and great defense. The deciding factor will be how well he wrestles on top and bottom. I think he is top 5 this year at the schott.

Jamison, Hendricks, and Waits are all great wrestlers from Centennial. They also put in a great amount of time this off season. I know that Jamison will come back with a vengence after being injured last year late in the year. There is also a younger hendricks coming up that will be making some noise this year in the lower weights.

Mifflin will have some good kids as well. I I know that mills is hungry and is looking for a shot at waits this year based on last year's city final, which was the best finals match in my opinion. I know that Miffliin will be well represented in the upper weights, They always have big athletic guys that bring it.

West is not to be slept on this year either. Farias and Stockton are leading a group of guys that have been ready to explode on the scene this year. Tommy Johnson will have a good year, as will HWT/220 lber Zach... I forgot his last name.

As always, Brookhaven will be ready and have a good squad. They have a solid 113 lber, 160 lber, and a good hwt. They will fill spots with hard nosed kids and will cradle your face off if you leave your head anywhere near your leg.

Marion Franklin has Patrick, Messer, Parkham, and Gray. Should have a good shot at these guys placing at most tournaments. MFHS will be decent from 106-170, and HWT. There are gaps at 182,195, and 220

West-44-33 over Centennial-Farias bumps up and beats Waits
West-75-6 over Beechcroft
West 72-9 over Mifflin-Mills over Farias in a tough match. Mifflin was missing alot of their lower weights.

Go Cowboys!

Anyone have full results? I saw the dispatch results, looked like a lot of FF matches. The Northland/South score was reported wrong. South actually won the dual.
Congrats to all guys that wrestled last night. West looking good! Sounds like a tough team this year, as always.
I know it is early, but what is up with Mifflin? 145 might be the weight class of the year. Walnut Ridge landed Schembri from Gahanna, and the kid is an absolute stud. Good luck everyone!

I watched Schembri almost 2 years ago at Districts. Kids tough what weight class is he? He should do very well at DII states. Him and Gusan. NICE.

We don't dual Walnut ridge this year, but we may see them at Ready. I'm Guessing that Schembri will be at 145-160. Not sure he will get to 170. You got to love that fact that Quinton Ryman is in the room at Ridge pushing him at all times(Escolade Your Game). That is a great thing for him! Its good to see some city kids getting better and making some noise. We have been stale for a few years. Northland also landed a good kid that transferred in at 138. He is tough. Not sure what his name is, but he is tough.

I think the best city kids in order would be:

#1 Gusan (WR)
#2 Patrick (MF)
#3 Mills (M)
#4 Farias (W)
#5 Hendricks (CE)

Thoughts? I think if Schembi sticks it out and the other new kids that have come in pan out they will be able to take some spots.

You might consider David Stockton for one of the top city city kids as well. For those who have seen David in the past he looks like a different wrestler and is currently 7-1. He techfalled Evans from Centenial and pinned a pretty tough Mifflin kid as well. Other considerations may be Tommy Johnson (3-0) and Zach Craddock (6-1).

Lowsingle, I believe alexander is from dublin coffman. claim to fame would be pinning state champ hackworth from oak harbor at medina last year.

Sacker, Stockton is in the conversation for sure.
Lets just start this:
Tommy Johnson
Kyle Messer DQ '10 6-1
Charles Parkham 6-2
Zach Craddock 6-1
Deante' Gray 6-1
Jamison (CE)
Alexander (NL)
Love (NL) If he comes out. (Returning City Champ)
120 LBER from Linden

Sacker, did you report your scores from last night? They weren't in the dispatch.

Not yet. He has work to do to get things done. Maybe by the end of the next month. We will see.

West finished third as a team at the whitehall duels this weekend. David Stockton and Zach Em both finished first, with Santi Farias, Zach Craddock, and Willie Arrington all finishing as runners up.
