I am not going to watch a single play of the NC game. I hope the TV ratings are the worst ever .

It's been that way for at least 30 years, yet people get pissed off every 5-6 years when it happens like it's new.ytownfootball;1002140 wrote:Fuck the NFL

Bet Temple and Wyoming are excited about playing for this puppy.
Would you seriously put this in a trophy case, and, more importantly, make it a point to show recruits during a visit?

Besides the fraudulent NCG, the worst BCS game is by far the Orange Bowl. Is anyone really going to watch Clemson WVU?

I love football. I will watch every single bowl game. Why wouldn't you watch these games? After they are over there is no college football until September.sleeper;1002545 wrote:Besides the fraudulent NCG, the worst BCS game is by far the Orange Bowl. Is anyone really going to watch Clemson WVU?

After the decades of futility Temple has gone through, I bet their excited about playing past the end of November every single time it happens. Trophy is a footnote.darbypitcher22;1002515 wrote:

You are part of the problem. The bowl system is a fraud, by watching you just perpetuate mediocrity. Enjoy!TBone14;1002556 wrote:I love football. I will watch every single bowl game. Why wouldn't you watch these games? After they are over there is no college football until September.

If you watch the games, you are "voting" by your actions for the current system. Which is fine if that's how you feel. But to watch the games and bitch about the BCS is the height of hypocrisy.TBone14;1002556 wrote:Why wouldn't you watch these games?

No it isnt. It just means that i love football and there isnt a damn thing i can do about the BCS so im going to watch. Nothing hypocritical about it.Saying you love the system just because you watch the games is dumb as hell.queencitybuckeye;1002608 wrote:If you watch the games, you are "voting" by your actions for the current system. That "there isnt (sic) a damn thing i (sic) can do about the BCS" is not a correct statement.Rotinaj;1002645 wrote:No it isnt. I think VA Tech/UM is a worse game than the Orange Bowl. Va Tech in no way, shape, or form deserved a BCS game, and MSU deserved a BCS bid over UM.sleeper;1002545 wrote:Besides the fraudulent NCG, the worst BCS game is by far the Orange Bowl. Is anyone really going to watch Clemson WVU?

Once upon a time, qualifying for a bowl game meant that you had a good season.

I realize that Jan 1st (or 2nd this year) is a B1G Ten day, but why do they not space out the 3 Florida bowls out a bit instead of starting them all at 1PM? Start Gator Bowl at 11am, Texas Ticketcity at noon, Outback at 12:45 or 1pm and Capital One at 1:30pm or 2pm. They are all on ESPN/ABC including the Rose, so space them out!

Boise got absolutely screwed by the bowls / BCS. So sad that a top 10 team has to play on Dec. 22nd
