Cleveland Knights???.. What kind of a joke is that for the WCAL?i thought our conference just won a state championship? I also was checkingon maxpreps some of the area schedules and saw Cleveland Knights on rittman's and thought it was a mistake. I dont know what is going on in rittman but they must be pretty desperate for some wins.
In all fairness, Manchester scheduled the Columbus Crusaders several years ago, and they're the same kind of team. Non-OHSAA sanctioned, so the game didn't count. Team was comprised of mostly home-schooled kids and students at Worthington Christian, since they didn't have football.
I do believe the score was a drubbing, to be fair. Something like 42-0, Manchester. Can't say I see the same happening for the "house that Besancon began to build ... and Dennis has torn down."

Won't count. If they also have Week 1 open, their L1 divisor will only be 8, which is (I think) the minimum to even qualify for the playoffs.

Nah, he'll pull it out in the final seconds with a secret play ... a SCREEN pass!

Hopefully, you're right, even though it wouldn't actually hurt any other teams in the league from a second-level points standpoint.
