Just think of how good the tuba would sound and how fleet footed the band would be!

The league next year will be probably the most interesting year of any I can remember. First of all my pups... I'm not totally sure what to make of them next year but I do now up until Moyer got hurt the Dogs were playing a lot better. You could definitely see Moyer improve as the year went on at QB. The line was big but not strong so hopefully a year in the weight room will do them good and maybe have a really solid line. And when you virtually lose nobody the team has got to get better. For the other teams.... A couple things I must not be getting. I hear a lot of good Northwestern talk... and I'm not sure why (it could definitely be justified) because when I saw them play Dalton... Dalton was the better team but NW had 2 plays that gave them the scores and the rest of the game they didn't do too much. I must be missing something here. I do believe Smithville will be solid but I'm not so sure about Hillsdale cause they lose a bunch of starters. So they are a question mark along with Waynedale who also graduated a lot but does have their RB back. Norwayne has got to be the favorite, of course, but they just won't be the same without Wallace on both sides. I can't even come up with a prediction order for next year.

dhs - I do think nolleti playing qb for the huskies made them a lot better - he was still injured for the dalton game (I do agree that the bulldogs probably should have won that game though). Both teams should be better next year. It is really hard to predict next year, but I guess we can look at it this way: who will likely be better and who will likely be worse in 2012.
Better: Northwestern, Dalton, Chippewa
Worse:Norwayne, Smithville, Hillsdale
Not sure:waynedale, rittman

I still think the cats, smithies, falcons will be three of the better teams (and I predict the cats will win it again), but all 3 will likely be less talented. The huskies, bulldogs, and chipps should all be better, but it remains to be seen if they can get the first three mentioned. I just don't have a good feel for the bears and indians (who definitely slid back this yr). That's why I'm predicting a very competitive 2012.

The bares are prolly getting some recruits from a local parochial school. Valley Run, or Spring View.

Hopefully the Indians improve next year...it got really hard to watch after the Chippewa game. As for predictions, its very early on but this is just my opinion:

1. Norwayne
2. Smithville
3. Northwestern
4. Hillsdale
5. Dalton
6. Waynedale
7. Rittman
8. Chippewa

If Smithville finishes 7th and Waynedales finishes 1st I will gladly wear brown and gold from head to toe to the Golden Bears playoff game (If 1Beast gets me a ticket).
