Typical no response from you wcalfan. What did you do report me to the mods around here? GoChiefs is a huge bandwagon fan who calls Steeler fans the scourge of the Ohio earth yet is a Michigan Fab. Ts1227 is a huge mommy part. And neither of them understand how to moderate a website. That is one of the reasons this site is a joke. Christ, Sleeper was right.

For all the rest of you sane minded WCAL fans who want to talk football rather than just run q coaching staff into the ground, shoot me a pm and I will direct you to where we all went after leaving this site to talk real sports and left the drama behind.

I was gone over the weekend, I saw the Hillsdale/Smithville game on replay, Ouch! The Smithies played well at times and really bad in the second half. I think we are looking at 5-5 maybe 6-4. The Northwestern game is gonna be another tough one.

It'd have to be Northwestern. No way this team beats Norwayne this year. I'm still betting on Northwestern after this past week, but that's the lesser of the two remaining solid opponents they face.

I don't resent being beat by a good team, though it's always hard to watch. I do have one observation though. When the winning starters come out in the 3rd quarter and the jv/fresh go in they are fresh and ready to play hard. That isn't a bad thing, however, the losing starters have played all game and are tired. I think this combination increases their chance for injuries that will limit them the next week. Dalton had numerous injuries Friday, all during the game, but the majority in the second half and two in the 4th quarter. Including one that sent a player to Akron. I hope we have enough back to be able to handle Rittman next week. So, should the losing coach get his guys out of there when the winning team takes out the starters? I know what the players say, they just want to keep playing. I don't really know that there is a good answer to this dilemma, but just offering another viewpoint of when to replace starters.

I think so too. However it is smithville and I hope the cats don't let to much emotion fly and lose control and play sloppy. The last thing they would want to do is let smithville stay in the game due to lack of control. You have to take the life out of them right away and then put the nails in the coffin.

i cant promise anything about the score but i do know the smithies will play hard till the final whistle.

wcalfan has brought order to the district, talked with a Rittman fan today said you get use to it, neck gets a little sore looking up in the standings all the time, but no one expects anything so the soft parents can just chat at the game and enjoy the band!

I can't say I have never seen a smithville team not play hard and tough to the final whistle............. Wow can't believe I actually gave smithville credit for something. I think I just thrown up in my mouth :cry:
