Your move.

Communists aren't attacking our country, so fighting one won't save it.

As for playing, I was talking about a battle of wits, but I see you're unequipped.

Go on complaining that your alma mater isn't getting a top story in the sports section after games where there is no story.

"Recon" you might do a little critical thinking when you say things in the future.

A respected champion is a humble champion! I hope that is what is taught in the Norwayne locker room. All of Wayne county is proud of Norwayne. But too much Pride can lead to ruin. I hope only a few fans are all that are worried about the amount of ink in the DR the cats get and the players just speak with their playing! WCAL football starts Friday!!!!!!!!!!!

You are aware that Urban Dictionary isn't a real dictionary, right? You'd probably establish more credence using something credible.

But congratulations on your ability to use Google, I suppose. Is this new? Is that why you felt like you wanted to show us on here?

Geesh... you guys are like little girls. The fact of the matter is, there are MANY schools in the Daily Record coverage area and many different sports during each season. It is impossible for the paper to focus one journalist EVERY week on writing up a feature for one school. Yes, our DIV defending state champs have continued the success, but to think that they are the only team that should be covered for last year's accomplishments is short-sighted and ignorant. I appreciate your enthusiasm, Paul, but the Daily Record's coverage area is not only Norwayne. They must attempt to reach all readers in the coverage area, not simply those that won a state title through hard work and execution LAST year.

A funny thing happened last year when the final whistle blew and Norwayne had won the Championship, all of us Pseudo Bobcat fans became haters again. Until they make the playoffs again no one outside of Creston really cares unless this is our week to play you.

PS. The DR does a heck of a job! Keep it up boys!

Any other Dalton posters out there that think Burke should be the Dalton QB?

Let me say something about Waynedale having played them last week. They have some playmakers! We had to adjust our kickoffs so as not to kick to some of them. They rattled off probably 5+ plays of 20+ yards. Their QB is fast. They have a few RB that are fast and can break tackles. Against us they just killed themselves with turnovers, bad snaps. poor pitches, and other mistakes. They moved the ball pretty well for the most part. Their defense also held us under our expectations for last week. I think Smithville is the better team, but I wouldn't be surprised if they have some problems with Waynedale. A few big plays here or there on offense, and a few key stops, and they could be right there.

My picks plus insights for PAUL!
WEEK 4 (9/14)
Dalton at Hillsdale- worth three paragraphs.
Chippewa at Northwestern- a two paragraph game
Norwayne at Rittman -any more than two and they are rubbing it in to Rittman
Waynedale at Smithville- WCAL game of the week, third of a page
Orrville at Lexington- its Orrville they get a big article
Ashland
at Wooster - Area game of the week half page. Wooster is big = more papers.
Triway at Fairless- if Triway wins big article they are on a roll
Mans Madison at West Holmes- small paragraph only League interest.
CVCA at Tuslaw- ditto above
Delphos St John at Coldwater- no article but Ohio game of the week.

Go falcons you don't know me, but I want to say thank you for bringing your bell to the norwayne playoff and state game. All of us from creston, sterling, and burbank loved it and really respected it. So thank you very much

It was my pleasure to be able to support a great group of kids. I think all the OCers that went had a great time and would love to do it again for any WCAL team.

I believe Norwayne Track program (or circle runners) has been the powerhouse of the county, district and region for the past 5-7 years, or are you only talking real sports??...

I agree that Waynedale/Smithville is the WCAL game of the week for sure. But I might be a homer here but I think the Dalton/Hillsdale game could be very competitive.

Reps. LoL!!

I would say Mansfield Madison @ West Holmes is more than just "league interest", though. West Holmes is the 2nd largest school and the #1 best team in Daily Record area (excluding Cloverleaf for both). They're 3-0, at home, and hosting a 3-0 DII team. Big game for a number of reasons, IMO.
