If all Kaleb suffered was a dislocated shoulder, I would look more towards a 1 or 2 week return, not 4-6 weeks.

Your hands are down alright, apparently in the lower half of your body attempting to pull your head out.

Zimmerly is a great player on both sides of the ball and deserves much recognition.
But best area RB?....that is a conversation that should include Weber, Edmondson, Mackey, Perrone, Buss, Smith and thats just off the top of my head. That's not even factoring in Wooster, Orrville and 3 or 4 county teams. Homerism is rampant with you Max.

Did not score in second half, when ti was 20-12 Huskies. Had it 2 times ready to strike, one fumble by QB and a pick late that sealed it. Did not rotate RBs all game and I think Smith was just tired. You could see it.
Word has it the Huskies got tired. Conditioning may be a problem for them this season.

I agree, lived all over northern Ohio and the Daily Record and the Elyria Chronicle Telegram are the two papers that excel in local team coverage. There's a bunch that are just a shade below and a few that are terrible.

Hey old crybaby, I thought you came here to talk football..............not take shots at Creston. You're in danger of becoming just like the people you cry about.

and last but not least..............................Busson from Chippewa is having a fine season. As is Hooser from Rittman. Both are very valuable to their respective teams.

Concerning the Huskies, personally, I think the problem was lack of substitutions. The previous weeks, there was a good job of rotating the RB spot to keep legs fresh. Not one of the other RBs got a touch besides Smith this past week. And it showed clearly in the 3rd and 4th qtr. Play action got the best of our corners and safeties as they continued to bite on it. I don't think it was conditioning for the team. Most looked pretty good. Some play calling was predictable in the 2nd half and not mixed up like the previous weeks. Not sure why we reverted because the first 2 weeks were very exciting with all the different plays.

Daily Record do you know we played an undefeated team last night with a huge line and a 260# fullback who tears teams up but not the Bobcats? Daily Record do you know a star player for this team went down to an injury in the second quarter last night and was taken to the Hospital. Daily Record how long will he be unable to play and what happen to his shoulder? Daily Record you really do have a team like this they are the NORWAYNE BOBCATS and they play on Friday nights! I had to hunt the sports page to find the write up below and the hunt was not worth it!

The coverage of the Cats last year was outstanding and it's definitely not a big deal that there was not a big article about last nights game. I spent the day with Kaleb and my son today. He is doing fine. He has a seperated shoulder and will be out for 4 to 6 weeks. He sees a specialist next week. It will be a big loss for us but we will push on. Thanks for everyones concern

It may not always be perfect, but they produce a lot of entertaining and in depth articles throughout the entire school year. Hopefully, they will continue to be recognized for their excellent coverage.

^^ I 2nd all the above posts. I, too, am a huge fan of The Daily Record. Their game-by-game coverage, both online and in the paper, is 2nd to none. This was especially true for the Bobcats' state championship run last year. Keep up the great work, DR.

I agree the daily record does a fine job. No complaints from me ever about them. I was apart of some pretty sad norwayne teams in the 90's and they always seemed to get us in a nice write up or two every season, and it was not because we were on the losing end of the write up........ All the time

Perhaps I should have stipulated that I think they suck at proofreading ... or at least they did when I used to read it. Their coverage was always good.

I will personally call A.D. and set up a meeting for you. If coach Z at Waynedale is willing to setup meetings with OC posters... I'm sure Aaron would be just as accommodating to laugh in your face.

You figure 12 local schools the dr covers. 10 weeks of football all 12 schools play. You will get about 2 big write ups a season until your team makes the post season. Then the dr does almost daily write ups on the post season teams. That's not to bad, pretty fair. However I am partial to the cats, would like to see a nice big write up every Saturday morning for our defending state champs!!
