This will be interesting to see how it plays out. Many believe his attitude will "adjust" if he gets paid but a big contract for a very small guy with multiple concussions is dicey. Still don't quit on your team though.

Your team pays everyone around you, except for you (who produced)...you're telling me you'd go out there and "just play"? No, you wouldn't..

He is a really important piece to a WR Corps, but he is one dimensional, so he isnt worth #1 money. A guy like Jeremy Maclin is a better overall WR and I would pay him first. Of course, neither can stay healthy, so who knows.

Key point. Can't stay healthy at a position that overall isn't very physical or tolling.

It'd be great watching how bad his attitude gets there when/if McCoy can't get him the ball.

Denver could use a legit Wr but then again Tebow has done pretty good without one.

Now Cue the Denver could use a legit QB responses.

Denver would be worse with him, same as with Lloyd. They need physical WRs who can block. They traded Lloyd and that helped immensely.

Unfortunately, this doesn't fly anymore. Players now "outperform" their contracts and bitch & whine until they get a new one (see Josh Cribbs "just pay the man" bullshit).

Okay? So what?

If someone is performing well in a sales position, they get promoted....NFL WRs can't get promoted, so they should get a pay raise.

Speaking of that, you guys got fucked by the NFL kinda like how the Pirates got fucked by MLB.

Pirates can't compete with big-money teams in free agency, so they put tons of cash into the draft. So, MLB makes rules about how much teams can spend in the draft.

Browns pay a great kick returner who's limited in other stuff he can do big money. So the NFL changes kickoffs, so most of them lead to auto touchbacks. Cutting his effectiveness a good bit AFTER he gets paid.

Nothing like when a team has an actual viable plan, only for their league to be like, "Nah, fuck you, bitch! Try again."

1. Sales people do not have contracts like NFL players
2. NFL WR's don't get promotions they are still WR's unless you go from not starting to starting which isn't the case here.
3. No one from Philly is saying he won't get more money in his NEXT contract.
4. If Jackson doesn't like it he can sign with anyone in the free agent market.
5. Hope this helps
6. I voted

It is what it is, treat your employees how they should be treated and they will perform and stick around.

Well, in the case of Jackson, how would treating him how he should be treated work?

Since on one hand, he's a very talented receiver. But on the other hand, he's an immature bitch who can be a liability on the field, drawing moronic flags at bad times, and who puts himself above the team, as evidenced by the whole "skip meeting, get suspended for a game" deal from earlier this year.

You kinda want to use one hand to pat him on the back, while slamming a hammer into his head with the other because when a guy's already full retard, it's not like that's going to hurt anything.
