"Alabama lost to what would be the No. 1 team in the country and Oklahoma State lost to Iowa State," Gundy said. "If I was doing it fair, I don't know how I could put us in front of [Alabama] right now."
I just felt he should have stfu and let the chips fall where they fall. IMO he sounded like a douche, but in the end it all worked out.

Basically saying, its o.k. now to hire a coach they hated, who cant keep a program clean, lets thugs play. They just look past that now. And OSU posters acted like UK would pay a coach whatever amount of money to win and do whatever it takes to be on top again (OSU did with Meyer).
Bucks fans can think as highly now as they want on Meyer, but he's less of a man in my book for being a liar, and putting football before family/so called health problems. If he got hired elsewhere, OSU posters would be blasting him like crazy for not keeping his word. Fact.
Your argument fails for this reason. Please show that the majority of Ohio St fans/posters acted as you have stated.

The problem is a small, very small handful of posters on a anonymous website spouted off and now it is Buckeye fans/posters in general.

You should have started out with, A small loud group of posters on a website etc etc. Not Buckeye fans as a whole or even close to a majority.
