Plus at most schools if you redshirt a year, you have 5 years to complete your undergrad degree. The transfer rule is a bonus for those that redshirt a year and get their undergrad in 4 years.

60% completion percentage. Over 2000 yards. 15 TDs vs 7 INTs. QB rating of 129.3. That's what Crist did in 2010. Injuries have hurt this kid. He can play. He wasn't a great fit for the scheme he was in. If he goes to Texas, he is way better than what they have, but I think they need to let those young guys play and get better. He should, and you're right. It's just that I'd hate for this to become the norm and be the equivalent of the one-and-done in basketball. I don't like it there, and I certainly don't like it here. @lotz...now that makes sense, especially for Crist-- if Weis can do for him what he did for Quinn, it'll benefit both of them

Probably an upgrade at Kansas with Crist playing QB, but let's not forget that he kept getting passed on Notre Dame's depth chart. At this point, he appears to be one of the bigger recruiting busts in recent memory

Rees was indeed given the job, but Crist was always the guy who would go in if Rees had a season-ending injury.
