So your ok with a back gaining 100yards one week and doesn't even see the field the next week? No better success than Boom Herron was having in the Michigan(15-37) game Hyde should have at least gotten a chance. As for Smith, are you going to hold those couple (not 4) early season fumbles against him forever. Both these guys (Hyde and Smith) have far more talent than Boom Herron and Jordan Hall. But no sense arguing about any of this now, this season is over and it's time to move on. We'll see how the new staff utilizes these guys.

Imo, losing Dunn is not a terribly big loss, I saw him many times over the last three years, I question his toughness.

What does Urban Meyer do with these players you ask? Turn them into champions.

Edit* Damn it, Sleeper beat me to it.

In his presser Meyer talked about a zone block read option and tailback off tackle spread offense with zoom options and a lot of motion for show or to overload one side of the field or the other. No need for fullbacks or traditional blocking TEs in that offense. Unless he can still pick up a dual thread QB in this year's class class the #3 QB would be Freshman Cardale Jones, Gray Shirted at Fork Union. At 6-5 220 4.55 he's closer to a Tebow QB. Since there are a couple of FBs and traditional TE's on the roster and good sized TBs he could go to a power offense inside the 5 yard line.
Did you miss the part where he said he will also be running some pro-sets and I-formation? Meyer will use the talent he's given, while he recruits the talent he wants. All good coaches know that you adapt your system to the players, not the other way around.
