Also, Offsides. There is no fucking "S". It is offside. If you are offsides, you are not a participant in the game. Offside implies you are off your side on the other side. With an S, you are not on either side and thus not in the game. So frustrating to hear offsides.

I also hate people who use 'than' instead of 'then'. My old boss used to do that and it drove me nuts. I honestly don't think she knew the word 'then' existed.

Agreed...except, I'm still in the corporate world.

I also hate the phrase "I seen." Seriously, it's terrible English. It's either I've seen, I have seen, or I saw.

Another phrase I can't stand is when people use the phrase "inspired." As in..."The home team is playing inspired ball today." I don't know why...I just can't stand that phrase, makes my skin crawl lol
