chicago, that's an actual technique. You spam a completely innocent-looking site for several months. You drive up your traffic. Then, when you're receiving several hundred uniques a day, you start placing AdSense ads on the site (or CPA ads or even rev share ads). Since you've already built up visitors, you're bound to make money.

However, all the videos are now directed to his favorite Youtube vids.

Honestly, a few people do well with it, but most people don't even make enough to pay for the time they took driving the traffic in the first place.
