Sounds like a couple high-octane offenses going at it at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium! Who's going to be there, and what should we know about either team?
Looking forward to this, as I'm definitely going!

Im thinking after the debut of The Falcon Bell in Norwayne stands, That the Cats fanbase may make Go Falcons honorary Bobcat "Bell Guy"....lol
The bell was a success tonight and there is a pretty funny story that goes with it!
Good thing I can read here, because I damn sure cant hear anything!!!!

I have seen both teams play this season......should be a very exciting game that's for sure! Do we see another historic shootout, or OT game? Both teams will be ready for this one it just comes down to execution.
Best of luck to the Norwayne Bobcats! Bring another title back to Wayne County! You can join elite company
lol
I have an interview down in Columbus at 10 so I will be doing my best to get back to Massillon for this game!

Is there going to be another tailgate party as I was unable to get there on time for todays game. It would be great to meet some new people and put a face to the OC names.

If you like old fashioned slopper knocker, this may not be your game. HIGH scoring must be on the menu. Woody would not be happy with this one.

That's okay. If a smashmouth football game is not on the menu, I can still enjoy two aerial assaults.

To Norwayne:
Make this game your finest hour (sorry for another year-old video, but this guy does an uncanny Lombardi, and it's a great speech).

After seeing Kenton play Hartley, and in my know absolutely nothing (which Beast will back me up and tell you I don't) opinion. Here is my "keys" to the game for the Cats. Maybe OQB can help on this and tell me were I am wrong.
First for the Cat defense:
The first key will be Wallace. Kenton uses a five wide no back offense always. Mauk is fast and has a deadly fast arm and can throw real deep. Is he faster on his feet then Wallace, IMO they are pretty even. Hartley tried to contain Mauk with a three man rush. Their three guys actually made good penetration on Kenton all night but were not fast enough to stop him. The Hartley backs were all pulled back in coverage and Mauk just runs. Wallace needs to stay on Mauk.
The Cats pass D will need to stay on their man and not let them behind them and the screen of course is a real threat. The receivers are fast also, but again so is Norwayne.
The Cats offense:
Against Hartley, which is an all run team, Kenton loaded the line which they will not be able to do against Norwayne. However they did seem very vulnerable to the run around the ends.
The Norwayne O linemen will need to be exceptionally in control of themselves. Kenton D linemen do a drop from the four point, down onto their belly and back up real quick like and this cost Hartley a few times in false starts.
I do not think size is an advantage either way. I do not think speed is a big advantage either way. Norwayne's pass coverage will be tested heavily, but if Wallace keeps on Mauk it will make that manageable.
I think the Cats can win this game. I think they have the tools to do it with.

Good analysis Go Falcons. Norwayne should also focus on the onside kicks and the 2 point conversions (Kenton doesn't kick extra points).

I think we will be watching this one on T.V. this week, but had a great time at the game last night.
As a Smithville supporter and somebody who has coached Adam Wallace in travel ball and has gotten to know their family very well, he is a great kid and deserves everything that has happened for him this season. He is everything you want in a player and I really will not be surprised if he outplays Matt Mauk in this game. Good luck Bobcats!

For the cats to win #26 & 41 their best two players on both sides of the ball. After watching game 26 is clearly their X factor. 41 is a very nice player and good on both sides. 45 is good player but these two guys make the difference for the cats. I think they need to play well for norwayne to compete. Norwayne has lots of playmakers who make plays after short catches or yac. QB is good but people around him make him look good and they deserve some credit too.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to this game. If so, I'm up for having another tailgate party if everyone wants one. We had a good time last night, and I'm sure it could be even better next week! Big Falcons and Ringz, who are both going to the game next week, were there last night and can comment on if it was fun and worth it.dontcare;988701 wrote:Is there going to be another tailgate party as I was unable to get there on time for todays game. As for the game itself, I think Norwayne has the speed to keep up with Kenton, the DBs to contain Kenton's spread as well as anyone else has this year, and the offense to keep up in a shootout. They have what it takes to beat Kenton. I agree with those that mentioned the need for a spy on Mauk... he's definitely a deadly weapon throwing AND running. I have never, ever seen Kenton play (except for a few highlights online), so I'm pumped for this opportunity to watch the national record holder in all sorts of passing categories take the field. Both teams deserve to be here, though. Last night we didn't expect a blow-out and we got one. This week I do not expect a blow-out, either, and I hope we do not see one. I'd love a back-and-forth game with lead changes gallore, and the Bobcats emerging!

Norwayne is much much more then #26 and #41. They are probably the most well rounded unselfish team that I've ever seen. They compliment each other about as well as a team can. Wallace is not a good player. He is a Great player. The line is extremely solid and the skill players are insane. Maibach and Jon Z have definitely had some nice games in the playoffs (and regular season) and I'm not trying to take anything away from them but Norwayne is the epitome of team.
