Rich Rod's offense could work in the Pac-10 and have them competing as one of the top few teams in that league.
But I agree, it would suck to root for him.

What about that 3-3-5 defense? Can that stop USC, Oregon or even Stanford who'll probably rely more on a physical run game w/o Luck? A co-worker who's a UM fan and I were talking about how much better their D is this year. It's essentially the same personnel but they're not running that garbage.Fly4Fun;982758 wrote:Rich Rod's offense could work in the Pac-10 and have them competing as one of the top few teams in that league.

A team can win the Pac-12 without great defense but a high powered offense. (Oregon).mucalum49;982769 wrote:What about that 3-3-5 defense? Dikk Rod will fit in nicely out in Arizona. They already have 500,000 Mexican Rodrigueses.

Good hire by Arizona. Not really sure why RichRod took that job though. Tough place to win

It won't be the exact same thing, but I don't see why Arizona can't be the Oregon of the PAC-12 South.

Until USC is eligible again, that South division is WEAK. I hate Kiffin but there's no denying that the Trojans will always be the class of that division. Good luck racing for 2nd place ever year Rich.

For his and 'Zona's sake, I hope that Rich Rod at least learned that he HAS to pay more attention to defense if he ever wants to begin to think about being an elite program from his experience at Michigan.

He may not win the Pac12, but I am guessing he could get the Wildcats to finish in the top 3-4 in the conference on a pretty regular basis. The Pac12 is really weak outside of Oregon, USC and Stanford--- and we'll see if Stanford goes back to their old self now that Harbaugh is gone and when Luck moves on to the NFL.

But since they now shoot them on sight down there, are there any left?

I'd bet the ones that look somewhat white (i.e. Rich Rod esque) are still safe down there because they don't look Mexican.

How leathery will that fake tan bitch of a wife be after a couple years in the AZ sun?
