Unreal, Gordon is up to 9th and moving up while Kyle Busch sucks now. He has a shot. Another problem now that Newman is in the lead with Stewart protecting him. This could get wild. Kyle Busch would go off the radar for a month if he misses the Chase like this.

It reminds me of old Darlington the way track conditions change so quick. But really its the fine line adj. of these new cars. I'm lovin this drama with Gordon knocking Kyle out.

Me too. That was one heck of a run by Gordon. He's up there in age now but it's great to see him doing well and in the Chase. Hard to believe even with all of his awful luck this year he still made it. Would love to see him get #5 before he retires.

Pretty sure the last time I went to Eldora was shortly after Tony bought it. It may of had a few new rest rooms but now the place looks like a legit race park and not just some dirt track using a poll barn as grand stands.

King's Royal is a blast.

When the WoO was formed in '78 I went with my dad to Eldora in October. It was the season finale, weather was really cold. They allowed the cars to idle around the track to warm up the oil in their engines. We counted 81 winged sprints on track at the same time. I went to Atomic in Chilli every week for years but this sight was magical. The driver list was a who's who. Steve Kinser won and was named 'King of the Outlaws'.

Dale Jr is at ESPN today making rounds on all the shows.



Here is Nascar 2011 rookie of the year Andy Lally at Laguna Seca on the last lap this week. He got 3rd. He won Daytona and Indy this year, and two weeks ago in Canada won the world downhill skateboard championship. He is also a Jui Jitsu bad ass.

Jack Roush Jr crashed in practice Friday and broke both bones in his left arm. Flew back to Mich. for surgery. He is ok. I told him no more texting during practice. ;)

Allmendinger re-instated by Nascar. Hornish will still drive the 22 the rest of this year, and Logano is in it next year. No idea if he'll get a ride, no one expected him back so soon.
