I was wondering why I had this feeling of deja vu today -- and then realized I was experiencing a 1990s flashback where The Game is concerned.

I foolishly went into so many of those games (at least early on) with hopes of victory, only to see teams that had played with machine-like efficiency just weeks earlier, freeze up or break down when it came time for the fast track.

While age has increased my skepticism in many things, including sports, I just don't see much chance for Ohio State to win this game tomorrow.

I dearly hope the OSU players and this coaching staff prove me wrong.

In either case (win or loss), the after effects will be very short lived as the focus turns to beginning a new era for Ohio State football.
