I meant hardcore pawn. Just tooooo much yelling and conflicts on that show. Plus at times they seem to try and arrange the conflict.

and the conflict between the employeees drives me crazy too.

As someone else said, it comes across as a knock-off. Also, like other reality shows that have some success, we will be soon hit up with Storage Wars: Miami, Storage Wars: New Jersey, Storage Wars: West Virginia

Frankly, I only watch Storage Wars to check out Brandi and to see what kind of deals Dave Hester gets. Guy makes a killing in nearly every episode it seems while Barry loses his shirt.

Serious question, if the unit sells for more than is owed on it, does the extra money go to the owner of the facility or the owner of the stuff that was sold?

All I know is that the auctioneer gets a percentage of the sale, and I would assume that the storage facility keeps the rest of it. Dont know how long before they are defaulted before it goes to auction, but i would HIGHLY doubt that the owner of the stuff gets ANY of the money even if sold more than what they owe. Think when ya sign up ya agree if ya dont pay...the stuff gets confiscated.

I have read she used to be a stripper, and that when she says she and Jerrod met at "work" it was because he was the floor manager at the strip club. Doesn't seem that unrealistic as she definitely seems like that type.

I think they go to auction after being defaulted for 90 days.

Yeah, that is probably right about when the unit CAN be auctioned off. I would guess after 90 days of non payment the storage unit becomes their's, and when they get a few to auction off then they go for it.

Thanks.
I didn't know if the owner of the stuff received the extra money, if they did you could make some money by renting a storage unit and filling it with empty boxes of expensive things that people would bid real high on.

Were there 2 new episodes last night? I recorded one and the Texas episode but my brother claims there was another new California episode after the Texas show. I searched for it in the guide but didn't find it.

I think it was on at 8:30, as a lead in to the new shipping wars show, then the 2 new episodes (1 cali,1 texas) at 10.
