So with all three of your posts you know who I am and what I stand for? I have herd people for years wishing that Orrville would loose in the playoffs. Yes there are some that don't but, there are many that do that.

Don't think there wasn't plenty of smiles and high fives at the expense of Orrville's 1-9 season among the other county schools.

But when you're the New York Yankees of this area, that goes with the territory.

RRN can appreciate that with his favorite college bball team...everyone always wants to see them lose, makes the victories so much sweeter though.

Girls volleyball won tonight. Will play Cuyahoga Hts in the regional finals on Saturday for a trip to the final 4.

When the real playoffs start...hate these first round games. 8 teams per region is too many. Lots of teams who don't belong. All in the name of $$ for the OHSAA.

I must say that the volleyball team success has taken some of the sting out of the football season result, though.

The football players were at the V-ball game and did add a different dimension to the game with their Morph suits and cheers. Barberton is always happy when we make the playoffs because we travel well. Probably had more fans than all the other teams put together. Cuyahoga Heights is well coached and had a good game plan against the slower and taller Lancers, but it might not work against us. It all depends on who shows up. We'll have to play well to win because CH is an all senior team. Only 1 player is not a senior.

48 games Friday night and 11 lower seeds beat the higher seeded team. 3 #5 seeds, 5 #6 seeds, 2 #7 seeds, and 1 #8 seed Kenston beat a #1 Tallmadge.
Some close games in our old region 14, Genoa 42, Ready 14 ; Hartley 63 , Upper Sandusky 19, and Ottawa Glandorf 72 , Clearview 0.

Not sure I buy that argument. Mansfield sr loses last nite but very deserving of the playoffs
