I simply call it as I see it. Orrvilles qb simply is not good. He would be a good receiver he's a great punter. When you are in third year playing a position and there is still no improvement that tells me a change should be made. Triway started a sophomore who was making his second start. Who played better ? If it sounds like an attack it is not meant that way. I just expect improvement after what over twenty starts. His play looks like it has regressed. It's just what I see. Coach called a horrible game as well. Running at will on them then going to what does not work the Pass. Just my opinion sir, if you don't like it don't read my post. Like I said I call it as I see it.

Put the kids to bad because I am about to be negative! What the hell was that? They couldnt stop us on the ground and our wonderful head coach cant seem to figure that out. All I heard all preseason was how our conditioning was so great? The worst I have ever seen in Orrville. I heard Short would get some snaps at QB? Umm really? If he didnt get them tonight then when on earth will he get them? Let me guess stop being harsh on Davault right? You all may judge him for what he does for the community but since I live a distance away I judge him by what I see on Friday nights and he gets outcoached almost every game! Who on earth is calling these plays? WE have a QB who has absolutely regressed in 3 years and I wonder if its because nobody has worked with him. For the second straight year we have someone who can make things happen with the ball with Bryce Short but the kid never touched the ball! Oh and lastly we have to be the ONLY team in the state of Ohio that runs kids in and out of the game to call plays. Mix in some damn signals already. I know this team is young, but again where on earth is the discipline. #22 gets I believe 2 late hit penalties in a row and Coach D pats him on the helmet and says who only knows what? Probably an "atta boy"! If kids get on here to read this then that is their own mistake., Maybe they should spend more time practicing to get better rather then paying attention to what everyone else thinks of them!

The half-time stats said that No. 24 had 72 yards on 6 carries, that's 12 yds/run. Yet, the coach first takes him out of the game and then goes away from the run. No. 21 produced via the ground attack also, then the coach went to the qb. And while he had a good run, why would you risk injury when you have two talented rb's?

REALLY?

Between Kyle, Tavy & Kayron we ran the ball well. That needs to be the first option. But is the staff ready to make wholesale changes after 2 games?

Everyone knows in our last 3 games, we've lost to Norwayne & Triway. As a Red Rider, that just plain stinks.

Did they even land? If so, where? I only saw them hovering.

I got a nice video of the parachutes coming in.

With some creativity, the coach can make this a team rule and enforce it during school hours!

Perhaps make them run for non-compliance!

Oh, my bad, he's against the run plays!

They just hovered. Went to Norwayne & Wooster too.

Parachuters were cool. But that was the highlight of the night sadly.

Pretty big shocker from a below average Triway team.

Good luck rest of the year Red Riders, looks like it could be a long year in the OCC for you with WH and Ashland playing well.

How "wholesale" a change are you really making when a play/plays are working to your benefit? If a defense can't stop "run middle" and your pass attack isn't working, then you "run middle" all day and all night!

If the staff and/or the head coach can't make that adjustment, then perhaps they need to be replaced!

Thanks for verifying. Yep, the parachuters were cool and I apologize to you for being self-serving by talking about knowing the one guy who thought I was a good teacher. My bad.

I also apologize for appearing on the field for the pregame recognition. It was self serving to work with so many great people on this turf project that will benefit kids for decades.

Totally self serving on my part. :)

I really hope it's that obvious & that easy of a fix. If not, this season is going to be tough to watch.

You know what rr1, your participation and work on the turf project is appreciated and was a great accomplishment. The greatest benefit in accomplishing something for others is when you work behind the scenes and need no recognition for that which you've done. Your continual self aggrandizement, publicizing and sarcastic comments of what you do only tends to cheapen your efforts. Humility is the key!

Apparently the run plays are in the play book. They called them, they executed them with sophomores that didn't play on varsity last year. How obvious is that?

Newsflash, Triway is not a below average team. They gave us a heck of a game and now handed it to Orrville. I think they will do well in the PAC.

Looks like Orrville forgot to reload tonight. Bur if I know Orrville, they will find a way to right the ship and play tough the rest of the season.

On the positive side, at least you have the Fox curse to blame.

Congrats to Triway. See you guys later in the season, I'm sure you will bring your A game.

Wow. After Orrville handing a loss to Northwest last week, I didn't expect this.

Congratulations to Triway. They obviously did a nice job tonight all around.

And good luck to the Red Riding brethren. What Orrville does from here on out will tell us what kind of team they are.

What a great performance! The wide receivers are a part of this team also and there was a lot of stone hands by #s 1, 4,& 22 on some catchable passes and on kick returns and they must catch the ball! A quarterback is only as good as his receivers and linemen help him. Any QB should not have to start they play by looking down at his feet for the ball and then try to find receivers when he looks up. This was a total team effort all around by both the offense and the defense as there were way to many defensive missed tackles and wide open receivers for big gainers all night long. There were far too many defensive breakdowns to just blame the QB for stone hands receivers not performing as they could. Did anyone keep track of dropped passes tonight?

I'll admit it. That's the part that really bothers me.

Riders1: totally agree with the dropped passes statement of yours.
