I stand corrected. I just know the last couple of times I've been down to campus they had those pay to park machines everywhere I typically park.

Its a bit high. But I wouldnt be confident taking either team with that line, so maybe it is perfect lol.

Yeah I'd stay away from it. You couldn't really take anything from OSU's first game and I didn't see Florida.

Wow, that is a bit high. I would have guessed 6/7. I think many think OSU is better than they actually are at this time. I personally think they will get there, but right now, based on what I have seen in the exhibition and against WSU..they have a ways to go. I think this game tonite could be very close.

I say its a bit high, but the general public is probably leaning OSU because Buford and Sullinger are the biggest names and its in Columbus.

I would say Sully, Buford, and Craft are the biggest names, as Craft is considered one of the top 5 PG's in the country.

We are midwest driven. Yes they are big names (Sully is big to everyone). But it isnt like Walker and Boynton arent just as big in their region of the country. Same with Frosh Beal. FLA is a very, very good team. Elite 8 and bring back a lot plus Beal. Lost a lot, but bring back a very solid core of guards.

I only said Sullinger because he is a preseason AA and Buford because he's been on good teams for 4 years.

I dont think Craft is above Walker and Boynton nationally yet. He didn't even start last year technically.

Below Kendall Marshal, Jordan Taylor, Tu Holloway for sure. I'm struggling to name other good PGs this year.

But I think top 10 would be more fair.

according to this publication he is, but I'm sure there are others that say differently

5. Aaron Craft, sophomore, Ohio State

There was a lot of offseason talk about whether Craft might move to the shooting guard position so that freshman Shannon Scott could take over the point. Really? Take the nation’s best post feeder, perhaps its smartest player and easily its best on-ball defender and move him away from the ball? Thad Matta’s a pretty smart coach. He got to the Elite Eight at Xavier and the national title game at OSU. That just doesn’t seem like anything he would do.

Top 10 sound more realistic.

He isnt as good as Marshal, Rivers, Holloway, Taylor or Joe Jackson imo.

Id say probably behind Teague and McCallum as well (McCallum is a very good PG, but plays for Detroit cause his dad is coach there. Household name if he went big time).

Well duh.

In all honesty, I think Mike DeCourcy is one of the best college basketball journalists from the big magazines. Knows his stuff pretty well.

Imo, if Marshall wasn't on a loaded offensive squad, he wouldn't even be mentioned here. He can pass, but he can't shoot and is pretty terrible defensively. Craft is much better defensively, a better shooter, and only slightly behind in the passing dept. Probably gonna let Rivers and Teague play some games before I evaluate them. Taylor is the best in the country. Haven't watched much of Jackson or McCallum, but they both seem to be very good. I'm fine w/ saying Craft is top 10, cause it's all matter of opinion really.

Craft, defensively, is THE BEST guard in the country. And its NOT close. Offensively, he has his limitations, but is still pretty solid. I also do not believe there is a player in the country that plays with the heart/effort he does on every possession. Add all of that together, and I'd say definately top 10 with arguements of top 5.

OSU should dominate inside. UF will have to shoot 3s and not foul. OSU by 10. I don't know why UF is ranked top 10.

As for Rivers and Teague, you are probably right in letting them play first. But Im jumping the gun with the trend college ball has taken. They will probably live up to what their ranking was.

Jackson is a stud for Memphis, did you see his pass earlier today versus Belmont? Im sure it will be in the highlights.

McCallum, I got to watch in HS. Very underrated player (though I think he ended up around like 35 nationally in HS). His argument against him is the quality of opponent. It can never really be argued one way or the other because of this. Holloway is the same way, but he has shown it in the big time games before for a few years, and the A-10 is respected.

Marshall being on a loaded team helps him as a pass first guy. But dont forget that UNC really took off, and those studs offensively finally gelled as a team when he took over the roll. He is very good, and on any team in the country makes the offense run a lot smoother. You can argue the type of player that is the best, and maybe a scorer is more important to you, but he gets results with his style and is by far the best PG in the land at it.
