I don't miss the Dakota's at all. Glad to be out of South. Hated traveling to North.

I've yet to be in the Williston area, but according to people in eastern Montana and other parts of North Dakota (Fargo, Bismarck) it's booming like crazy in that town. But, I don't envy the weather this time of year.

Grew up in NoDak, loved it there. Great place to be as a child. Couldn't imagine living there as a teen or young adult.

Saw on TV last week that Williston was booming and that they were looking for 800 truck drivers and could not hire enough people. They also showed the housing shortage and how they could not build fast enough for demand.

The drive. The lack of anything around. The wind. That was South too, but even less in North.

I had a good 2 years out there, but I don't miss it one bit. I miss some of my buddies, but we'll always keep in touch.

Oh nice. None of eastern North Dakota has got snow. But damn it has been cold. I was out in Minot a couple of days ago damn it's a mess out there. Good luck on the safe travels.
