But he posted at 6:40 asking where it was...

I replied back 7 minutes later. You came to try and save him, but alas, you failed.

no I said it wasn't there after the game, which would have been around 4 to 4:30

My two cents being at the game.

No big surprise with the 3 guard starting lineup. Matta luvs his guards. As long as Smith can rebound like he did yesterday, OSU would be fine on the boards. We know what we are going to get from Sully, Buford and Craft. Thomas was much more selective with this shots. He also was very active, not sure he got many rebounds, but he was active in the boards. I am pretty confident he will be just fine. Smith was impressive. I was high on him coming out of HS..but then he broke his hand last year and I really believe that set him back tremendously going into the season last year. He is a strong kid, with very good hops and really hit the boards aggressively yesterday. Siebert looked very good, very comfortable. Has compacted his shot and knocked down a couple threes. Really liked what I saw from him.
Even Ravenel was maybe the biggest surprise for me. The transfer who sat out last year, will definately get some minutes. He is physical, and seems to have a good BBALL IQ. He looked pretty good overall. Definately a player who will come off the bench and give OSU quality minutes in post/PF spot.
Sam Thompson is going to be VERY, VERY good. He didn't get much PR coming out of HS. But this kids has HUGE potential! Out of the frosh, he looked the best, had the most confidence as well.
Scott is a great looking kid. He struggled yesterday. But you can just see he can flat out play. He is going to be a stud eventually.
Amir Williams was the MOST disappointing. I hope i am wrong, but he just isn't quite ready. Looks fairly raw, didn't play particularly hard and looked lost at times. Many of us thought he mgiht start. Now I am not sure he is going to see major, major minutes.
Witherspoon looked good. NOt sure he is going to get major minutes. He was one of last guys off the bench. But he is an amazing athlete. He did hit a couple jumpers, got to the basket. But his shot is just ugly. Not sure how he will do against good competition. Still a question mark for me.
Overall, there is no question this is the most athletic team Matta has had. He also has more depth than he ever has. Now, whether he uses it...who knows.
We will know more next Friday in the first game. This was just a scrimmage and it was obvious Matta was going to play everyone.
Obviously, with the exerperience lost, and with all the new frosh, this team is not near as well oiled as last years team at this point in time. But once they all come together...there is no question this team can play and beat anyone in the country.
Going to be a fun and exciting year!!

Good insight CBF. I don't think Williams will give OSU much this year. I'm surprised and happy to see that Weatherspoon got back on track.

Watching Williams in some of the All-Star games and in Youtube videos, I just never saw him being a big contributor this year, like some did. He's very raw and soft at this point. I see him being a Ken Johnson type during his career at OSU.

I don't see him having near the defensive impact as Johnson had.

Worst part about basketball starting up is that Big Gain returns with his ignorameous posts.

At least Dynasty can have a rational conversation when he disagrees.
