It is a pathetic state for a D1 program when you are comparing your scores to two D5 teams that each had 4 wins and a D3 team that had 6 wins.skank;996462 wrote:Where did I brag about it? Red Lion Christian An all star team
Mentor 1,059 boys....Ursuline has 173, sure they're hand picked....but that's a huge difference.
Mentor Lake Catholic D3 a lot more boys than ursuline, but THEIR boys are hand picked too.
Zanesville a public school....A win, what do you know.
Steubenville D3 two divisions higher
St. Edward....nuff said, recruit bowl 2011
St Peters NJ Don't know their enrollment, but in Ohio, they're classified as DI
East Tech DI....But public win #2
Mooney two divisions higher
St V two divisions higher.
The bottom line, Ursuline got too full of themselves and scheduled themselves right out of the playoffs.

Poster thread for an anti recruiting poster . and Ill bet they aint catholic either LOL. Lets face it there are more baptists on Ursulin then catholics by a 3 to 1 margin . they look like Youngstown East used toalmost . They are 80% blacks kids . Funny though the band is all white and 95% of the rest of the student body and fans are all white . Ursuline wasn't good enough this year. I think any Ursuline would admit that and work towards getting better instead of whining and bitching for the next 40 years. I was looking at the schedules, Ursuline played 1 school their size and 9 schools that were bigger. Massillon played 3 schools their size, and 7 schools that were smaller. Why is Massillon afraid to schedule the big boys? Most likely because there were only 1-2 against D1 teams, but at least they were able to beat the worst Harding team in at least a generation.skank;996824 wrote:Why did they win only 4 games? The real question is why did Massillon with 500 boys drop Mentor,Solon and Iggy? Ding,Ding,Ding we have a winner.Yep you guessed it ,because Massillon could not beat them.

Please do at least a little research before making yourself look so stupid. Yes, Massillon dropped Iggy. We played them for 10 years, beat them once, played them close several others but for the most part, had our butts handed to us. Despite the fact that they doubled us in size, I'd say it was due more to the fact that the 1,000 boys were basically hand picked.
Solon, we played them once in 2007 and lost 10-3. but going in both parties knew it was a one year contract.
Mentor actually dropped us due to the fact that they were getting into a league.
Oh btw, the last two times we played we won 2009 28-20 and 2010 26-21. Nice try though.

Scheduling them alone tells me that either it's an everyday practice for schools with 173 boys to play schools with 1059 boys, or Ursuline's handpicked boys were meant to be special this year.
