Wadsworth scores 21 in the fourth quarter to beat Glenoak. I would think that would be somewhat of an upset?! Some buddies went up to watch this one, should have made the trip with them!

When you get on HS football sites, and pound your chest like so many of the GlenOak faithful did this season, you have to make it to at least the regional finals. Jmo.

I went to the game. GlenOak led 21-7 and then had a 28-14 lead in the 4th quarter, but Wadsworth battled back for the win. What an exciting game to watch! Just to prepare you, there will be GlenOak fans that complain about a non-pass interference call that allowed an offensive player to catch the ball and run it to the 1 yard line. It was definitely a bad no-call (wide receiver pushed off and knocked over the DB then caught the ball), but that did not by any means "lose the game" for GlenOak. That led to a 1-yard TD plunge. But after that, Wadsworth's stud running back Jack Snowball (36 rushes, 162 yards, 3 TD) carried his team with 2 late TD's after injuring his shoulder, the last TD coming after GlenOak threw a TD in their own territory with a few minutes to go (last TD scored with something like 1:12 left). Congrats Wadsworth! Snowball is an animal!
