Most thought Orrville would be too fast for Norwayne and that was far from the case. Smithville beat Norwayne by keeping the ball away from them and controlling the clock,Orrville never tried to play any type of ball control and continuosly threw deep, which gave Norwayne many opporunities with which they took advantage. It seemed as though Orrville felt they could just outrun Norwayne or throw it up and their guys would get it. I really think Orrville thought they had much better athletes and had a poor game plan offensively.Coach 08;971229 wrote:Birddog- Smithville is big up front and run the ball well, but orrville would be way to fast for them, did you go to the Smithville playoff game? Also Norwayne's passing game was not very good and all they did was throw the ball long against Smithville. Last night they started hitting the guys underneath and letting there WR make plays.
