Why all the hatred toward Norwayne?.....is it because of one video?.....After the Norwayne Hillsdale game I seen all the fans line the exit of the field waiting for the Bobcats....when Hillsdale came through everybody cheered for them and told them good game.

I'm not sure why Norwayne is hated so much......we have been the "whooping post" for so many years but now we are playing good football and we have become "cocky"????..... One player making an azz out of himself should not destroy the whole teams rep....

These are good kids that come from good parents just trying to win football games....

Everybody has been asking "where are all the Norwayne posters??"...we are here......we support our team and OUR "TRADITION"..it may not be the same "tradition" as Orrville has but we have it..........

Two good football teams going head to head with only one thing on their minds..........STATE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!
Neither of these teams will be State Champs

As the season extends things just start breaking down from fatigue. Norwayne, not being challenged until week 8 has had time to rest their starters far more than the Riders.
Great point 5k. Looking forward to seeing how norwayne handles a team with equal or greater speed.

Glad to finally be done with election commercials...for a few months anyway..they'll be back with more important issues that if not passed or failed, will lead to the destruction of us ALL.

Just read that article on The DR. I wont say 1-9, but our schedule is a meat grinder to the point of that we are never 100%. we all would admit that. but it prepares us. Just take a look at the raw numbers. Norwayne won 2 more games than us this yr but we are a higher seed then them. the case is evidently made that we either played bigger schools or the schools we played won more games.

Wouldn't it be cool, with Orrville's students encouraging a "black out" for Saturday's game, if Norwayne's side did a "white out"? Just sayin'... I think it'd be cool!

On one side, you have Orrville:

On the other side you have Norwayne:

While Pitman is amazed at the crowd coordinating a color scheme to wear.....most fans will be watching the great game that will be played on the field! :p;)

There might be 5,000 people at the game this Saturday, but at least there won't be a third the amount of scarves and top hats I saw at last Saturday's SVSM @ University School game. Hahaha! Seriously, University School's mascot name is the "Preppers"... Seriously??

Probably 1,000 fans total. Stands on both sides were packed with many standing on grass on hill behind home stands under paviliion, but the bleachers were TINY (smaller than all Wayne County League stadiums).

University School is a fairly small school. The Preppers Lacrosse program is a pipeline to D1 college programs. They send prolly 5-6 kids a year to D1 schools on scholarships.

$24k per year to go there. Other than the tiny stands and no lights and tool-shed sized concession stand, University School has execellent facilities and a beautiful, gigantic campus. (I literally had to walk a quarter mile over the river and through the woods on a trail to get from the parking lot to the hidden stadium that had no lights). But very nice, ritzy place, for sure. Reminded me of something you'd see on Harry Potter.

Since the Orr/Nor talk is basically starting to become a repeating loop.
Lets look at the rest of D4.

Although I think the Division is up for grabs, the favorites to win it all in my opinion come out of R14.

Columbus Bishop Hartley & Kenton.

#3 seed Hartley is the defending champ and have been looking more and more dominant as the season has progressed. They've female dog smacked some good teams in October (Coshocton & Ironton) not to mention taking care of business in round 1 of the playoffs (42-14 over #6 North Union)

#1 seed Kenton has all world QB Mauk and that 5 wide offense that most teams don't often see, so they are difficult to prepare for.

I would place these two as the favorites but anything can happen.

As far as this Saturdays game...my WCAL heart is with Norwayne but my money is on Orrville.

Well they didn't have to spin much. I admit there are a few Orrville posters that have had great posts, but more than a few who believe that Orrville is the best that there is and no one else knows football or has any tradition in the rest of the state. That to me is complete lunacy. Spin away my posting brethren.
