Did you just drop your drawers and lighten your load on SR93?? Why would I go to Tusc/Stark county anyway? Princess, you fail miserably again, just like Massillon sports programs in general.

No one on this thread cares about Massillon, and it has nothing to do with anything between Big Red and Mooney. Take it elsewhere.

I apologize, you are from West Holmes, they would have no reason to be in Stark County, especially in late November/early December.

Go Big Red.

No...because the poster said the TOP FIVE teams. Last year, St. Ed's was one of the top five teams. Please try to keep up.

Skank needs to get on a Massillon thread for they're game this week against..... Oh that's right they are getting ready for basketball. Do you guys have any championships in basketball? I would think not since they have always had to earn them on the court.

With Mooney and Big Red at Fawcett Stadium and Dover vs. Minerva at Canton Central Catholic, traffic could be a problem. Three teams will come in from the south on 77. Allow plenty of time.
Cheers!:)

Is OHSAA favoring Mooney by not making them be forced to be part of that traffic? :D

Why couldn't the OHSAA just do a double-header at Fawcett? They have one for R4, why not R11? Fawcett could probably handle the carry over from one game to the next as many would simply leave between games or only show up for their game at night. This would make a great opportunity for fans to see two games, for winning fans of the early game to watch their future opponent in the second, etc.

That would make too much sense. The state has never been known for that.

I like the idea...but I would assume that R4 is able to do that because D1 games are played on Saturdays. Since D3 games are on Fridays...it's tough to have a double header without two schools either getting out of school early, or two teams not playing until late at night. On top of that, parents and fans would have to call off work on Fridays to go to an earlier game.

True, sherm. But, Dover and Minerva are only about a half hour from Fawcett and could play at 5:30pm while Big Red-Mooney could be the 8:15 start as they'd have further to travel.

Oh well.

Also, you could have shifted to Saturday if necessary to make the DH work. No competitive advantage would be gained by creating a short week since the winning schools would play one another the next Friday.

There is another game scheduled for Fawcett on Sat. that would not permit such a plan to go into place, but that game could have been placed at PBTS since they have zero games this weekend.
