Go Spartans. My former schools are 1-1 after tonight, hoping for a Mogadore win tomorrow to go 2-1 :)

I wonder if Marion Pleasant will face the same scrutiny that DSJ did last year for their win over Shadyside.

Big mean publics beating up on a poor private.....better change the system! All kidding aside I am not sure what else Pleasant could of done last night to soften the blow anymore. IMHO taking a knee with 7 mins left in the 4th is more demoralizing. Its week 11 and your a playoff team!

Congrats to Marion Pleasant on the win. I didn't see the game, but if they had their 2nd team in in the 3rd they more than likely weren't trying to run up the score. I know what it's like when your team just runs into a team that just shouldn't be there. Good luck the rest of the way, always liked your program. You guys knocked out one of the teams I was on back when DSJ was in D5.

However, let's be honest, if this was a private school there would be an absolute fit being thrown.

Partially Correct! A score like that in the 1st round is more understanding as there are plenty of teams that shouldnt be in the watered down playoffs. There were lopsided scores across the state last night.

One would think the state finals would be a little closer. I know DSJ was THAT good last year!!

I do not know if Pleasant is THAT good...or Cinn.Summit Country Day is THAT bad.

The only brothers playing football for Summit Country Day are like Carlton from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The rest of the team is comprised of guys named Chip, Chas, Winthorpe, Reginald....

Stay Classy Marion Pleasant

Yeah but let's not also forget that Shadyside was by far not the 2nd best team in the state. Lehman Catholic, Ada, Minster, and Marion Local would have smoked Shadyside as well. It was just unfortunate that all the good teams were all on the same side of the state last year... Sorry didn't mean to hijack this thread.

Back to Marion Pleasant. I think they are seriously being overlooked in that division. I'm not completely sold on Coldwater, and with LCC and Ursuline out, they may bring home some hardware this year.

In my opinion unless the starters are in there airing in out in the 4th quarter it's not their fault if they score. This wasn't the case from what I have heard.

JVs were in after the first series of the 3rd quarter. They took a knee four times at Summit's 20 yard line with 7:00 to go in the 4th. Freshman were in the next series.

Grow some little danny
