I do the turkey in one of these:

Best. Turkey. Ever.

Other than that, my wife and our other family takes care of the rest. I drink all day.

Deep fried turkey is the best way...no doubt.

Will be the first Thanksgivin without a grandparent on my mom's side and that was always the best eats. Ham loaf....good shit! Cheesey potatoes...UNREAL!

We never usually have turkey!

Last year I had lobster, prime rib, shrimp and endless desserts. Man was that shit good.

Oil-less "deep fried" turkey is the best.

We roast a turkey and fry a turkey. This year I think we are frying two...so three total. One will have cajun injection and one will be plain, I believe.

Sooo exicted. I love Thanksgiving.

Doing something a little different this year. Ordered a turkey that is currently still alive on a farm and will be slaughtered on the 22nd and I pick it up on the 23rd.

I've bought our last three turkeys fresh from a local poultry farm. It's fantastic. I would never buy a frozen turkey.

I have been going to my maternal grandmothers house for Thanksgiving since I was born (1969) She is 88 years old on Nov. 15th and still cooking! I have 6 aunts who come in and help cook! Call it sexist, but my grandmother still insists that the elder men still be served first, followed by the women, younger boys not married, younger girls not married then the kids. The women use their turn to fix a plate for the very young kids. I have been in the elder man group for the last 10 years! Turkey, ham and my favorite sweet potato casserole!~

Sold! On your recommendation I'll be placing an order for one of these tomorrow. Bought one of those indoor deals (Butterball) that uses peanut oil and it lasted 3 uses.

Also, it will be the best turkey you've ever had. It's unbelievable how good it is.
