What year are Sabino and Sweat? If either are seniors, I think it could come down to Wagner/Grant starting at the last spot. However, I'm hoping Bowden talks Wagner into staying. If you are good enough for the NFL, you will get recognized no matter where you are playing.

Sweat is a senior and Sabino is a RS junior. He would also have to consider being overshadowed by team mates where he actually might shine through at Akron.

0% chance he gets a scholly. Zero. OSU is capped at 82 next year. No sense in wasting one on a one year guy in a season with a bowl ban.

Jameis Winston to visit OSU this month... It's a long shot but you never know once Meyer get's a hold of a recruit and talks to his family!

A year old highlight and the #1 qb in country

To be honest I don't see a reason to go after him at all. I realize he is very good, but with scholarships at a premium right now, I don't think they should worry too much about QB. The O-Line is where they should focus right now along with getting Neal or Caleb.

You don't pass up a franchise player at the QB position if you can get him. Plenty of lineman around the country. There are not plenty of stud QB's you can build around.

If he's a winner, expect him at Ohio State. If not, he can go to Notre Dame for all I care.

If your line sucks (see: OSU Offensive Line) it won't matter how good your QB is because he will be getting sacked every play. If there are so many quality linemen available how can OSU be so incredibly thin at the position. QB is set for the next few years so they need to focus on areas of major need.

He doesn't look better than Cardale Jones based off of that film....I agree that the scholarship would be better suited at a different position.

Taylor Decker (ND tackle verbal) is heavily looking at OSU now that ND's o-line coach is on staff. Looks pretty good for OSU.

It is looking better and better as the day goes on. If we get him Dodson and Diamond it would be quite the haul.

That would make it a 3D haul.

Horrible joke, but it needed to be said.

fwiw-- a buddy of mine who lives in Surprise, AZ. went to the Semper Fidelis game in Phoenix yesterday and happened to sit behind Mark Harrel's parents (who he said were great people). During their conversation he brought up Taylor Decker and asked if they thought he'd honor his commitment, and they told him it didn't appear so. Again, this is their opinion, and no, I don't have a link.

Will be interesting to see what Decker does. He said he felt like the rug was pulled out from under him and he was lied to. Would be strange for him to go to OSU considering his two main recruiters at ND were the ones who lied to him and are now at OSU. I'm guessing he will end up in Columbus.

Not sure if anyone lied to him. You don't know what was said and how much they talked in the past 3-4 weeks.

But Decker is the one saying he was lied to. Not Karen.
