Florida redshirt jr Matt Patchan will transfer to either Ohio St or Boston College. He has been hurt since '08, didn't suit up this year at all.

Patchan played in 11 games as a defensive tackle on Florida's 2008 national championship team before a leg injury cut his season short. He played in four games in 2009 but missed the rest of the season with another injury.

In 2010, Patchan missed the entire season with an injury. Last year, he started seven games at right tackle for the Gators but missed the Gator Bowl game with a pectoral injury.

Early in the preseason this season he suffered a strained pectoral muscle and never played for the Gators.






Sounds like a guy that just can't help but avoid an injury.

Got a good laugh last night. Buddy of mine works for purdont and is the turf manager there. Told me both fickel and vrabel were on campus last week secretly interviewing to take coordinator jobs there. He then old me that the football program will be given 1 million more to work with then USC for money for coaches. I laughed and just said oh yea makes so much sense. Lol

I could see Vrabel doing that, but I am not sure Purdue would have anything to offer Fickell, esp since he seems content to be a Coord. We can just chalk it up to LOL
